Camp Galileo- Fremont Ardenwood

Camp Galileo is awesome. I would definitely recommend Camp Galileo to my friends and family. It’s really a great fit for kids who like to build, be creative, enjoy science and art, and thrive in an energetic environment (like my little one!).
The staff is enthusiastic and energetic, and they take a personal interest in each individual camper. They are supportive and motivating and their approach is great for the campers’ self-​esteem. They pay attention to the individual needs of each camper, too, which is really important for some kids. They make the all kids feel special and smart!
The camp has really neat themes, and the camp activities are fun and interesting for the kids. Most activities focus around the theme of the week and include a lot of art and science. The kids create these amazing projects which they are very proud of!
We are huge fans of Camp Galileo. We can’t wait to return next summer! It was a really special experience and we are thrilled we found Camp Galileo!

I first chose Camp Galileo 2 years ago for my oldest boy to attend. It was to be his first «camp» experience and he is a rather shy child. I needed something that I was sure would stimulate his mind and let him feel comfortable creatively while having fun.
Camp Galileo met all those requirements and more. I was stunned by the reception on the first day when counselors acted as though my son was their best friend and star camper. The level of enthusiasm continued every day that week, even though after the first day, my son was hooked.
Fast forward 2 years. Both of my sons are now devoted campers and every single day after camp ends they both tell me about the cool things they did and the stuff they learned. They ask me periodically all year if they are going to Galileo the next summer. My answer is always, «Of course!»
Camp Galileo has figured out what it takes to make a good summer camp. Experienced counselors (all except the interns are in college or college graduates), awesome themes blending art and science in the same subject, small groups and just a genuine interest in the kids. The camp director even remembered my kids on their return the 2^nd summer!
I was so glad I found Camp Galileo for my kids. They have fun. They learn. I’m happy.
