Dominican Kindergarten

We’re lucky to find a great Kindergarten for our daughter. We love this school with a well-​rounded, beautiful, and peaceful environment. It is nested further inside the Dominican Sister’s campus. The minutes we visited it, we knew that this was the place we wanted for her. Sister Jane Marie is a wonderful teacher. She is gentle, loving, and dedicated. The support staffs are great, kind and professional. My daughter always looks forward to the next day of school and we can see that she is very happy. The after school care staffs are sweet, loving, and fun who give fun play time, help with homework and teach them art and craft. We are amazed at the level of academics my daughter is achieving so far. The communication, and social skills have also improved remarkably. We also love to see her improvement in speech/​public speaking as she presents her book in front of her classmates every Thursday. We’re very glad that my daughter is in great hands.

Great teachers, parents, staff, and safe location. The new reading program is incredible, fun and strong in phonics, phonemes, sight words and vocabulary. Learning centers extend the learning in small groups with more individual attention. Computers, Spanish, music, singing and much more help the kids get good foundation. The Catholic Christian life learning is the foundation of creating good, responsible, independent kids who have loving parents. We have a great community always sharing and helping in the class in many ways.

We love Dominican Kindergarten, and our son does too. The curriculum is excellent, the staff is top notch and the overall program is like no other around in this area. This school only has one class which is on the St. Joseph/​Dominican Sister’s campus, near the old Ohlone Mission. I grew up here my whole life and did not even know it existed until I researched out kindergarten programs in Fremont. My son is presently in the kindergarten class and has improved so much in all areas of academics. The teacher, Sister Jane Marie, is excellent. The teacher and the program stress not only academics but to be a loving, caring, responsible member of the community. I am always impressed every time I visit the classroom. I would definitely recommend Dominican Kindergarten to anyone considering a private kindergarten class.
