They didn’t take credit cards & the drinks weren’t cold. They blamed it on it being their first day open, but from reading the reviews already posted — apparently not! The falafels were on the hard side, very dense and didn’t have much flavor. The chicken kebob was dry, not tender and didn’t have that roasted flavor. lastly the tables were weren’t stabilized so whenever you put your arm down the whole thing rocked. I tried to fix it with some folded napkins to no avail. The staff was friendly though. All in all not so great an experience.

Maybe it was because they had just opened at the time, but the service here was bad. I went hoping to get a good kofta and maybe some nice hummus, but the kofta was okay and they forgot my hummus! After I had initally ordered my food(to go), I busted out my ATM card and dude says that his machine is broken. Okay, I worked with him, walked my hungry self to Raley’s and used the Wells Fargo ATM. Then, when I came back, he asked if I had any smaller change to pay with… uh, no. So I sat down to wait for my food. In the meantime, many people filed in cutting in front of others and the people behind the counter had no control over the situation. The poor cook looked so confused. Anyways, back to the food, it was only okay. The falafel balls were bleh, but the meat was edible. For everything that I got(which included a grand opening discount) I paid WAY too much. I feel bad not liking this place, but it’s not worth my money to go again when there are better, cheaper places closer to home.

I wanted my dinner from here so I purposely called in my order at 4:20pm hoping it’ll be ready and waiting for me by the time I got there by 5pm. The place is in the Raley’s shopping center on Paseo Padre in the alley on the right, across from Burger King. When I got there there was 1 family in there eating. Nobody helped me right away, later on a tall man helps me. I tell him my name and pay for it. Well, the food is NOTREADY! Oh, HELLNO! I hate waiting bitches. so I’m trapped there cuz I already paid. bored I started writing down the menu on my receipt. Another young man sees me do this and finds a take-out menu for me. I waited 10 – 15 minutes. I’m annoyed. I ordered: Lamb Schwarma-$ 6. I thought it was tasty. It’s cut into 2 medium slices w/lamb, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, & a tasty green tangy sauce. Ask for hot sauce & the tangy Green Sauce. Chicken Kebob $ 8.99-I thought it was kinda weak. 8 cubed pieces of chicken(pretty dry) over rice w/onions and 1 slice of lemon. Some yogurt on the side, and a dry lettuce w/tomatoes on the other slot of a container. Only can recommend the Lamb Schwarma, but wtf the wait is not really worth it. Credit Cards Taken Now! My total since it was to-go was $ 16.30. Expensive for the amount of food(which wasn’t much). 6 tables w/4 chairs at each table. my pics above. Menu: Falafel $ 4 Falafel Salad $ 6 Chicken Kebob $ 8.99 Lamb Kebob $ 9.99 Shami Kebob $ 8.99 Chicken Schwarma $ 6 Lamb Schwarma $ 6 Chicken Lamb $ 10.99 Hummus $ 4.5 Tabbouleh $ 4.75 Drinks Sodas $ 1.25 Tea $ 1 Coffee $ 1 King Mango(Mango Shake) $ 2.5 Bottled Water $ 1 Sides: French Fries $ 1.99 Falafel Balls(3) $ 1.99 Fresh Pita Bread(2) $ 1 Fresh Baklava(3) $ 2.5
