Typical, but very nice and clean, Holiday Inn Express. We stopped there early yesterday afternoon due to an ice storm on I-​80. A couple hours later the power went out throughout the region :-(. We give this hotel 5 stars because the staff was truly concerned and engaged with their guests. They did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We were given extra blankets (unnecessary because the building was surprisingly well insulated) and we had a good (and long) night’s sleep. Thank you to all the staff and management!

When I walked into the room it smelt musty so I asked if I could check out a second room. The second room smelled fine and I appreciated being able to move with no hassle! The room was clean with a complimentary full breakfast that was good. Thanks:)!

Friendly staff. Offer free pizzas on Thursday night social. Missed it since we checked in Friday. Free breakfast. Coffee wasn’t too bad. The reason for 3-​stars because there is nothing that stands out besides friendly staff.

Friendly staff but a couple main complaints that should bother most if not scare many away:
1 — first room we were given we opened the door and were hit with a cloud of nasty stale cigarettes. fortunately a room was free across the hall and it was smoke free. however…
2 — we found and killed bugs. many bugs. 12 bugs? 14 bugs? we lost count. multiple kinds of bugs. in the bathroom in the bedroom thank god not in the bed.
For over $ 100 a night this is madness; this was much more like a $ 49 a night kinda place.

Very clean and convenient for our visit to Lake George… and the outlet mall. The breakfast was certainly a bonus, and the easy parking, pool, and pleasant lobby with popcorn were all great. The elevator was fast, and it was great to have access to the stairs too! We had a two bedroom suite, which was nice.
Will be back!

Honestly, I was not expecting much when my boyfriend and I booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express. We had found this hotel on a whim, while trying to find a halfway distance for the two of us to meet before heading to a friend’s home in Indiana. But, I was quite suprised.
The Holiday Inn Express in Fremont, Indiana is clean, they have comfortable beds, and it is relatively quiet. The layout of the room is quite nice in which you have a couch, coffee table, and desk as well. The hotel employees were also quite friendly and helpful.
If I were to ever find a hotel in the same area, I would probably book a room here again.
