I’ve been beating my Macbook Pro 4,1 to the ground, DJing sometimes 4 times a week, mostly video mixing, so I knew it was just a matter of time until something was going to happen. I’m actually a tech person working in the field but somethings are better left to the experts. My screen was starting to take a dive and eventually the computer began to freeze up. I got their number from a friend, avoided buying a «new» one on craigslist, and had them take a look at it. They gave me their estimate, pretty low, and then worked on it diligently. I received my laptop back in a week, in great shape and wasted precious little time in getting back and spinning. They saved me the heartache of having to do the research and work for myself, gave me a reasonable price to work with, and the confidence to send other people their way. I’ve already sent two more laptops to look at and am looking forward to its return.

My macbook screen cracked in August, and I just dealt with it. Initially I called around and checked craigslist for prices, and I was looking at $ 300 – 400 at least. I could have spent less if I wanted to take the chance, buy the screen, and replace it myself (I found some pretty good DIY videos), but I didn’t want to risk it, just in case.
I happened upon Innovation Technology, emailed them back in August, and they replied back the next day, quoting me $ 195 for parts and labor to replace my 13″ macbook screen. I didn’t get around to bringing my it in until last week, and it’s like having a new toy all over again! I brought it in on a Tuesday afternoon, near closing time, and I got a call the following afternoon to pick it up.
Located in some business park areas along the freeway, I was a little apprehensive about being there alone, but everyone was super nice. Thank goodness I found this place, because I about cried when my computer screen cracked… and again, when I started calling around for prices.
