This review is for the preschool and not the daycare. Pros: If you’re looking for a better than average daycare(Sitter) where your preschoolers are safe and not a preschool, this is it(Sarcasm). Clean facility. The school is on the 3rd floor of Washington Hospital, so it’s secure. I feel that if you want to pay for your child to have free-play all day, this is it as well(More sarcasm). Cons: The school is on the 3rd floor of Washington Hospital. It can average 10 – 15 minutes to drop-off, especially if the staff isn’t attentive when ringing the doorbell. A lot of the teachers and staff are not proactive, approachable, or nurturing. ABC’s, 123’s or The Arts are not an emphasis. The general atmosphere feels stagnant. They don’t promote enough parent/teacher collaboration or events for the success of your child’s growth. They don’t even ask for your name or offer parent teacher conferences and any progression reports. They seem to attract parents that don’t want to be proactive and just want to drop off their kids. Personally, I feel it’s a waste of hard earned money and more importantly your child’s precious learning years. Your little sponges will not retain much here.
