Went here last night and got a Supreme Vegetarian burrito, paid an extra dollar for avocado too. The burrito was not wrapped properly and fell apart. The rice inside was under cooked, and the extra avocado I purchased was almost non-existent. I usually love the Taco trucks in Fremont, but this was by far the worst burrito I have ever had. To top it off, my wife felt sick the next day. Very disappointing:(

The burrito was a good size and reasonably priced maybe im a snob when it comes to burrito trucks cuz i grew up in oakland but it wasnt all that im surprised it had 4 stars me and hubby will try again another time but they gave too much rice and not enough meat and cheese and the meat could of tasted much better i got asada hubby got pastor that tasted like nothing. If you have taste buds id avoid and go to a real taqueria its also annoying that they close at 9 taco trucks im used too stay open till 2am!!!

Fuck this taco truck. They don’t know what they put on their damn menu, give you the wrong change, take forever, give the wrong orders, and argue with you about it. So stupid.

I love everything about this Mexico Tipico Mexican food truck. Mexico Tipico’s main restaurant in Union City closed down not too long ago but I found out that they had a truck located in Fremont so I rushed over as soon as I could. I ordered the chicken tacos and OHMYGOSH! Just like the restaurant. Just like I remembered. The best Mexican food truck ever !!

Mexico Tipico has the standard Taco truck menu albeit a little pricier. eats: tripe/lengua tacos @2 –as is tacos fair, added some salsa from squeeze bottle and it was good to go –taco shells prewarmed, not at room temperature –lengua tender, slightly juicy –tripe fried to a crisp, tripe not tastable 3.5 frijoles refritoes: –fried tripa dragged rating down to 3. –service quick, courteous –unsure prep status of other proteins

It seems like the chicharone is a little different, but still good! I came back recently and had carne asada + chicharone burrito. The amazing flavor of the carne asada with the extra crunch and flavor of the chicharone was incredible. This place is my most favorite mexican place of all time.

My favorite taco truck. Best burrito carne asada. Even better — super burrito(huge). Fresh(even though I usually go after work, after 7 p. m), tasty and big. Really want to go today after work…

My favorite taco truck in Fremont. Any pork tacos are awesome! I also love the Cuban sandwich.

One of my coworkers suggested trying this place out during lunch due to its positive reviews on here. I ordered the Torta Cubana, which was a grilled sandwich consisting of a collection of different meats(beef, bacon, and some sort of sausage?) with avocado, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, cheese, and mayo. Definitely not your average torta that’s for sure, but equally as good! I also ordered a small horchata per Unilocal recommendations, but it nothing like nothing more than cinnamon water. Dissapointed. It was also a bit pricier than other places, but I’d definitely come back to try their other foods!

I gotta say, hella Mexicans grub here, they are always in line. That’s a good sign, right?! Well maybe, but I’m basing my review on my taste buds and here’s what I found after 2 visits trying multiple tacos($ 1.50 a pop) First, the good. The tortillas are griddled and not just barely warmed through. Which is a huge plus in my book. This really brings out the corn flavor and adds texture to the taco experience. Then the bad. A lot of the meats are under seasoned. The carne asada and the al pastor being the main culprits. The pork items like carnitas are a little better off. But it is bland to the point where the addition of salsa is almost requisite. When I’ve found a good taco, I usually don’t put any salsa on it. I just take turns biting the pickled jalapeño and carrots, along with the taco. And unfortunately the ugly. There is a huge and predominant flavor of lard in most, if not all the items. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not scared of a little lard, I actually think that it helps many things. But here, I feel is a little much. Of course it is in the pork items like carnitas and chicharones but I also felt it in the lengua. It is a heavy fat sensation that I’ve been keen on noticing lately. Chicharones– My fave so far here, but the meat can be chewy and sticky on the teeth. But for what it is, it’s a decent rendition. Carnitas– Good porky flavor but the meat is crisp and tough. A slight work out for the jaw muscles. Lengua– Good flavor but a bit fatty. They may crisp it on the flat top with lard. Pastor– Nice chile rub but lacking in salt. Carne Asada– Dry fine chopped beef and hardly any seasoning. You need to douse this with their salsa. With a few other trucks in this neighborhood, I just may opt for the others. But I’d definitely come here before Super Tacos next door who puts beans in their tacos. *GASP*

I finally tried the chicharrón tacos at Tipico and… MAN! They’re insanely delicious. If you’re not familiar with chicharróns, it’s pretty much fried pork skin. Think super crispy/crunchy bacon without the smoked flavor. These tacos alone gives Tipico the right to 5 stars. If you haven’t tried them before, stop wasting your time and do it!

I was excited to try this place because of all the great reviews so I decided to get a carne asada super burrito. I was impressed by how big the burrito was and the customer service was really good. But when I finally took a bite into the burrito I found that it was full of bland-tasting rice and beans with not that much meat. I kept taking a few more bites to see if the meat had just collected into one side of the burrito, but it ended up being the same throughout. They gave 3 types of salsas along with the burrito which I found to be pretty good. I grew up eating really good burritos from the city so this wasn’t quite up to my standards. I don’t think I will be back.

The tacos are so bomb. Especially the carnitas. Any of them with avocado on top(special order that). The pickled carrots and jalapeños are a nice treat. The horchata is… horchata. But, you can’t always get horchata so it’s especially delicious. I wish they didn’t use styrofoam for the plates/cups. The price is palatable. Not dirt cheap, but loaded up with avo and the vegetables, $ 10 is OK for a fantastic lunch(an horchata, 4 tacos). Guys are nice. They tolerate my lame ass attempts at hablando en español. You can usually get a chair; if it’s busy(lunch hour), probably not. They close at about 8pm. I know they work a long day but once or twice I’ve been bummed by the fact that they had already taken off at 7:30(I was really looking forward to tacos!). I work in Salinas where the number of Mexicans seems to be much higher than in Fremont, and this Mexican food is better than any of that garbage. Highly recommend!

Down the street from my house — SOCONVENIENT, SOCHEAP, SOOOOOOOOOYUM!!! I always get the steak tacos and I end up getting 4 for under $ 8. My only one complaint is that sometimes I drive by and they’re not always open, which makes me saddypants BUTWHATEVS it’s still delish whenever I go. I haven’t ventured into ordering anything else — but I LOVE my regular order. They also give you pickled carrots and onions which are SO good and a variety of hot sauces.

A pretty good taco truck. The carne asada was well cooked and tasty, as was the carnitas tacos. They have a variety of exotic meats(cabeza, etc) also. This truck is parked in the lot of an auto repair shop and seems to have a pretty steady stream of customers. They open from 9:30 — 6:30/7:30 depending on the day of the week. Be prepared to wait, as service can be slow, but it’s worth the wait!

So I’m a big fan of street food and trucks. I don’t know why, I just am. I grew up in Richmond and Oakland CA, so I knew were all the best taco trucks were. Since moving to Fremont, I didn’t think one could exist due to the expected population. Boy was I wrong, this place if offff da chainzzzzz is what I would have said when I was 18, but I think it is a really good burrito/taco place. I’m not sure if its open late, because otherwise this would be a lifesaver, but overall 5 bucks for a regular burrito that as big as 3 bananas!!! I mean jesus what is this 2001? Eat here it is awesome. Also maybe its more like 2 Bananas, but really big 2 Bananas

Super burrito FTW!!! The sauces are amazing and you must try them all! My friend got the veggie super burrito and loved it. We got the chicken super and split it in half — more than enough food. Veggie guy also got a horchata and loved it. Everything tastes so fresh and well-made. I’d love to try more items off the menu, but alas I do not live in the area. Be aware that the staff are not super English-speakers, so don’t kill yourself by trying to ask too many questions. Just put it in your mouth. There’s also a bit of a wait, because this truck is super popular. It’s worth it. Prices are great, too. Can this truck please drive itself or clone itself and send up to Seattle? I will go every week!
