Miranda Gabriel G, MD

Dr. Miranda has been our family physician since the 80’s and he has been in this location FOREVER. Despite the old office, he is incredibly well versed on all the latest fads and dangers of things I ask him about that I saw on Dr. Oz. He is the one we call first for any health problems because he knows what he is talking about and he is committed to helping you get well and stay healthy. Everyone in the office treats you like family and the staff is very helpful. To the dismay of other reviewers, he doesn’t prescribe unnecessary drugs. He calls it like he sees it.

Wow, the worst experience I have ever had. I called them because I have an ongoing treatment with my doctor but she went on vacation and her on call doctor doesn’t take cash patients. I called and spent 15min explaining why I needed to see her and her receptionist puts me on hold and then tells me she will call me back. 30min went by and she calls with 1 sentence… Dr. idiot doesn’t want to see you for your problem. Maybe she thought I am a 1 time pt which if she had seen me, she would have know I was unhappy with my doctor. Anyway, I felt she was unprofessional and unwilling to help. Isn’t that the basics of being a doctor, to help people? Well, I was able to find someone who agreed right away to see me as they realized the urgency. Forget coming here, there are plenty more doctors and ones who care about you instead of their bottom line.

Didn’t figure out what was wrong. Ended up getting stuck with a $ 1,000 bill on top of what they already charged the insurance. Pretty upset about the whole thing and still in a lot of pain

Not a very good bedside manner. Was rude to my grandmother who was ill.

I have been going to Dr. Miranda for more than 10 years in my time of medical need and he has been absolute God send. I swear he doesn’t really say much, he asks for symptoms, takes my temperature, takes out the stethoscope and makes me breathe a few times, writes a few things down, takes a deep breathe. And Voila I have my diagnosis. I don’t know how he knows, but he knows whats wrong with me so I off I go to get my meds. He’s been here for years, so if you are looking for a family physician then he is your guy.

We like him… too bad he doesn’t take babies but that’s okay ‘cuz we like our pediatrician which he referred us to! =)
