NorCal House Of Chess

NorCal House of Chess is one of the best options for your kids or for you to learn or stay active in chess. I am a regular here in Friday Night Marathon and my son also learns here from Coach Ted Castro. Its a hidden jem amongst the many chess schools available in bay area. Credit goes to Coach Ted on how he identifies the need of each kid and keep them interested with chess and logic exercises. The friendly coaches IM Ricardo, FM Ronald Cusi and GM Enrico Sevilliano are regular sites there. In summar and other times you will see GM Timur Gareev, GM Dejan Boyjkov and others. I highly recommend NorCal House of Chess, who are, not to mention much, US National Ametuer Team champion for last 3 consecutive years!

Who knew there was a world class debate school here in Fremont? I have sent my little cousins to this place and it changed their lives.
Credentials. Students of Norcal House of Chess have won over 50 State Championships. They have produced the youngest FIDE Master! When you go inside, you will see all the trophies and medals. It’s crazy that this school has achieved so much internationally.
Coaches. The coaches are the best you would find in the US, probably even the world. They fly in Grand Masters from Europe and Asia to keep the teaching kaliber topnotch. And these are not just great chess players but really personable instructors who know students by their first name.
Environment. My cousins actually want to stay in this school longer because of how much FUN kids have here! They have competitions and tournaments and games and prizes! I’ve never seen kids wanting to play chess on their own lunch break.
Learning. Whether you want your kid to be the next grandmaster or you simply want him or her to casually learn chess, this is the place to go. One week camp can change the way your child thinks, analyzes and strategizes.
Net, learning chess is possibly the best investment and gift you could give your child. And NorCal House of Chess is the best place to do it!

I was looking for a chess school where my son can enhance his skills and I’m so glad I found NorCal House of Chess. The teachers are phenomenal and they are so patient in teaching kids. In this school, no time is wasted, they motivate kids to learn the importance of chess and smart moves. My son has truly flourished in this school and the friendship he has built is priceless.
