A moment of silence, for one of the best bagels around. Unless they are remodeling, it’ll be missed.

Whatadump. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead. I need to be better at walking into a place, doing a quick looksie and turning the hell around if necessary. There were barely any bagels to choose from. No effs were given by the woman working there. What is that on the floor?! Is that a rat’s nest, or just a clump of hair underneath the drink fridge? Sorry we were interrupting your social media time. Why don’t you pick up a gotdamn broom or get someone to fix your customer bathroom instead of getting back to your computer time as soon as you were done being bothered by the customers? My lesson learned: When looking up a place on Unilocal, make sure to also sort by Newest Review First, to see the most recent reviews to see if a place with a decent overall rating has turned into a dump.

I was extremely disappointed when I came here at around 9 a.m. on a Saturday and saw that there were only a handful of bagels left. Aside from the limited variety, this place has surely gone downhill with the cleanliness, quality of their bagels and the customer service. Has their been a change in management that I don’t know of? I remember this place as having great bagels w the perfect snap(as I was previously told that they boil their bagels before baking them, which seems to be the«proper way» to make a bagel) but now the bagels taste like day old supermarket bagels. It’s a shame because this was one of the better spots in Fremont. Guess I’ll just have to find a new spot. Please share any recommendations folks!

Customer service was great but the bagels were so hard and dry. I bought a dozen and every single one was inedible! I threw away all of it and I’m not one to waste food. What a shame that a bagel place sells stale bagels.

I came here around 2 p.m. so I wasn’t surprised they didn’t have many bagels. I am not deducting any stars for what was available because I understand I came at a later time. The flavors available were strawberry, chocolate chip, jalapeño cheddar, Jack cheddar, everything, and sesame seed. I got a Jack cheddar bagel with spinach and garlic cream cheese. They sliced and toasted it. I was glad I went with the flavor of cream cheese because it was like eating nice, warm garlic bread. All the cream cheeses are advertised as low fat. The cream cheese tasted great for being low fat. The bagel was priced fairly but the prices listed for adding cream cheese were a bit high(around $ 1.50). My bagel, added cream cheese, and standard 16.9 fl oz water came to about $ 5.30. The bathrooms was a unisex single stall with a customers only sign. It wasn’t very clean but it wasn’t the dirtiest bathroom I have ever been in. There were some mysterious green stains on the metal trash can. I could probably get a better meal for the same price around the shopping area but I don’t regret checking this place out. Good for a one time try.

Took the only employee 30+minutes to make a tuna sandwich and Vietnamese coffee! Fricken ridiculous

Nasty dirty place! Woman working there didn’t wash her hands after handling money and before putting new gloves on! Also too pricey for a reg bagel and reg cream cheese. No selection at all!

Breakfast bagels are BANGIN! Super bangin. Eggycheesysausageybaconywarmbagely bangin. Costumer service, not so bangin. And drinks are $ 2.50 each. Uhm, I’ll order the bagel and walk to Raley’s in the same plaza, thank you very much.

I should have read up on some of the reviews before I decided to stop in and study here. No bagels or food when I came in(over an hour before close time). AND they told us to leave at 2:40 when they close at 3. Ordered Vietnamese iced coffee — it was overly sweet. Bad service. The girl working the register talking to her friend said outloud referring to us, «I was gonna close the shop early but then people walked in.» Rude and unprofessional. The place isn’t organized or clean looking either. Never coming back. Go to Panera across the street for coffee and wifi instead.

I decided to try something different and landed in this place. Let me just say this to all sandwich makers, the center part of the lettuce should NEVER be placed on a sandwich. ITSBITTER!!! Horrible sandwich and I knew I should halve walked out.

Decided to come here because Panera Bread seemed to have a longer wait. I was helped right away by a young man at the register. The older Asian woman(possibly owner) was dealing with the soda vendors. I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. Added an orange juice(a little disappointed that all they offer is totally overpriced Naked juice). My total was $ 7.85(ridiculous). Then I sit down to begin my wait. The guy just stands there while the woman is talking to the soda vendors. 10 minutes later after ringing up another guy the male worker decides he should maybe do something about my food and asks the woman how long he needs to cook the egg for. The guy who came in after me got his food before me. The sandwich was just OK. I would have been better off going into Panera or driving over the Posh Bagel.

I got a dozen bagels from here today and will never come here again. I arrived around 8:30 am and they didn’t have most of the bagel flavors available. The employees were disorganized. I asked for my bagels to be sliced and I could see as they were cutting them one bagel looked really bad, almost raw in the middle but they kept it in without doing anything. The cream cheese in the fridge looked old and had yellow crust around the edges of the containers.

Customer service is subpar. I mean, the employees are nice, but pretty unorganized. My order wasn’t complete, so I had to re-order the sandwich they forgot to make. Also, I had to figure out which of the various refrigerated drinks qualified as part of a meal(versus a premium type drink like Snapple)… same issue with the chips. My mom had a breakfast bagel with cheese, sausage, and eggs. She said her bagel was over-toasted, the sandwich was super greasy, and didn’t even finish it. I had a lox bagel… it was a lox bagel, but the overall quality of it was subpar compared to other bagel places that serve the same. I didn’t finish mine either. So much for that experience.

Honestly, i think the only reason it’s losing a star is because i miss the old owners. I didn’t go in often but there was something about them and how they handeled their business that i liked more. It just felt comfortable. I don’t know how to explain it but at the moment the shop doesn’t feel that way. Now onto reviewing the shop as it is now. They’re still getting everything togther. Sometimes there are some issues with the toaster some days but I understand. It’s a new business and it will work its kinks out over time, things they can’t control happen. Food wise. The bagels are still good, get there early because many items are out even by 8:30. I don’t order very much then the bacon but its thick cut and crispy, the only way i like it. ;) kidding but yes it’s delicious. Espresso is cheaper than heading to peets and while their coffee isnt as strong you have a variety of decaf, regular, hazel and and vanilla at a much cheaper price then heading to peets. Maybe one more option. Forgive me I’m still waking up. Majority of the time they’re very nice and the girl is really pretty with a lot of personality which I adore. I always hope she’ll be in! The guys are all very nice. They’re all good looking and it’s not one mold kind of guys. They all have different personalities. The Asian one is nice, talkative and polite. The Hispanic one with a great body is flirty, somewhat funny and nice. The other Hispanic is very direct and gives good service, he looks younger than he actually is. There’s a guy I think his name is Jason or Brandon with blonde hair and he seems more reserved than the other three but I find it extremely charming and refreshing compared to the others who’s personality jumps at you, being an introvert it makes me feel more comfortable. I really hope none of them reads this because i sound like a total creep, I’m not I’m just observant. I think the only real issues i have with the place is that sometimes ill go in craving vanilla coffee and they’re out of the coffee. :(the other issue is the owner herself doesn’t seem friendly. Like i was saying it used to feel comfortable and i think it could be that comfortable again if the owner of the company herself interacted with the customers. It just doesnt feel like a family or small business. More like the way an owner of a McDonald’s chain treats it. The only reason i go in is because the worker’s give a good feeling, the bacon is on point and i need eye candy to start my days sometimes. Don’t judge me until you’ve seen them!

What a shame… This place used to be the best bagel and the best service in the area. Now it is nothing but a poor imitation of what it once was. The service, while nice, is completely incompetent. The quality has dropped so noticeably that I believe today was my last visit to this establishment. Stale bagels, poor selection and undercooked bacon on my bacon, egg and cheese… And they forgot to make one of my 2 sandwiches so I had to wait a total of 24 minutes from arrival to order to food. Stay away, find someplace better until they figure out how to right the ship.

Not great but not bad. Ordered the bacon egg and cheese on spinach and garlic bagel, don’t think I’ll get that ever again. The lox sandwich was okay nothing special either and can’t taste the jalapeño on the bagel.

The bagels are numerous! The place is a bit small, but that should not stop you. The people, now that might stop you, they were not very friendly to me or my daughter, they were too busy with their own thing. This is customer service people, but the food was decent.

Mediocre bacon egg and cheese bagel. The $ 3.99 egg bagel I had was quite hard and not fluffy. The bacon was very hard and hard to eat. The egg and cheese part were okay. Extra credit card charge if the total is not over $ 5.50
