The outside doesn’t look very appetizing but you’ll be pleasantly surprised how cute it us when you walk inside. The food and service excellent! A nice little breakfast spot for locals and people just passing thru route 107.

Great menu selection. Tasty food. Above average for breakfast. Fun diner feel. I don’t remember the exact meals I’ve had here but will definitely go back.

Reasonably priced quickly cooked DELICIOUS breakfast in an easy to find location… Waitress was very friendly, too. I’ve been looking for a great«breakfast place where the locals go» now that I’m a local, and looks like I’ve found it! Chicken cordon bleu omelet had chunks of ham, not chopped up sliced deli ham — that was a great surprise that added to the feeling that I was eating in my own dining room. Can’t wait to go again!

In the battle of local breakfast joints, Poplin is a heavyweight. A comprehensive menu that you can mix and match to your hearts content. Portion size is perfect — not overkill that you’ll never finish but the right size that you’ll clean your plate and be in a good place. The fruit bowl is chop full of freshness. The toast is perfect with the perfect amount of butter melted on it. They know exactly how you want your eggs when you order them. Great service and fast becoming a regular stop for me.

Loved the friendly service and yummy breakfast. Definitely beats those crazy full breakfast places that rush you out. Waitress gave my 2year old crayons and a coloring book to keep her entertained. Delightful!

Let’s just say a breakfast spot that has a broken coffee maker isn’t exactly ideal. Normally one is greeted with the aroma of bacon, eggs and coffee when you enter a greasy spoon — but not here. The lingering smell of mold and mildew overwhelm the air. As someone that tries to find hidden gems for breakfast spots, I couldn’t have been more disappointed. And no, I don’t want my coffee from a Keurig Machine you actually went to your home to get. Thumbs down. :-(

Pretty critical on food places … Always looking for good local breakfast … Small quaint place. Decent portions. Friendly staff. They seem like they have their regulars who they seem to take care of … Not bad … Place gives me another local option

Everyone at the Poplin Café is nice. When you walk in your feel like family. The prices are reasonable and it comes out quick. The pancakes are huge so only order a medium. Very nice owners.

This is a hidden local jewel. The space inside has just a few tables and is decorated all around with Elvis décor. The staff is friendly and the country, small-town vibe is here, with people sitting down to eat and the waitresses ask if they’re having the usual. When he’s not cooking, Ethan the chef comes out to sit and chat with the diners. They have a lunch menu, but the breakfast is what people come for. Their pancakes are the size of plates and are an inch thick. It’s a great place we’ve been to many times, and will continue to go to. It’s a small dining room, but it’s perfect for the size of Fremont and the food comes out quickly and, if a table isn’t available immediately, wait a few minutes and you’ll be fine. This New Hampshire country café is again, a hidden jewel.

My partner and I went this morning for b’fast, not really much listed in this area and we hadn’t been before so decided to give it a try based on previous ratings. The cons… its small, very small. Maybe 7 tables and a 4 stool bar. With no waiting area, we stood inside the front door for a while until a table cleared, pretty awkward! The majority of clientel seemed older and very local who weren’t shy to yell across the room to their mates about the weather. We are fairly quiet private people that want to sit, have a meal and be respectful to others privacy. So, not really our cup of coffee. Speaking of coffee, it was luke warm… but on the plus side the table lady was very pleasant, replaced the coffee for hot and we received our meals. Ordering a mixed omlette and eggs florentine it was absolutely delicious. Non greasy, looked nice and tasted nice! Overall it was an OK experience for me. Its a little off the beaten track and the lack of waiting space lose it a few stars but if you want a local experience, try it out.

The service is really slow. It was pretty busy and the place is so small that when everyone is talking at once you can barely hear the person sitting at your own table.

New to Fremont, we worried the area wouldn’t have a decent breakfast place. Fortunately for us… we have the Poplin Café right down the road. Amazing! Very attentive staff and the food was excellent. We highly recommend it!

New to the area, we checked out the Poplin Café thanks to the Unilocal reviews. As promised by those who had gone before, everything was delicious. Service was spot-on. The gramma-lady who invited us to sit wherever we liked and got our coffees was cute as a button! Hubby tried the meatloaf omelet and loved it, I had the special chili cheese omelet and it was yummy… only wish they’d had sour cream to top it off, but that’s a minor detail. A word of advice… try a grilled blueberry muffin(likely any type of muffin I would bet, but blueberry’s what we tried)…to die for! Worth every ounce of carb, fat and calorie in it.

We stopped at the Poplin Café for breakfast. We sat up at the counter where we could watch the waitstaff and the kitchen. My husband had the meatloaf omelet, which was loaded with meatloaf and almost too huge to eat. It was delicious. I had poached eggs on marble rye toast and the fruit cup. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the marble rye toast was hot, crisp and buttery. The fruit cup had watermelon, blueberries, strawberries, pear, grapefruit, freshly sliced(most likely sliced to order) bananas and probably a couple more fruits I’ve forgotten. It was fresh and the best thing I had there. We watched hub cap sized pancakes coming out of the kitchen and wished we had tried one. Two would be too much except for the hungriest of big eaters. Elvis is the main theme for the interior decoration, down to the Elvis curtains on the windows. The waitstaff were friendly and very helpful, down to offering advice on attractions in the area. If you’re in the area and looking for a decent breakfast place, I highly recommend the Poplin Café. Wish I were there right now!
