Preschool Enrichment Program

I highly recommend the Preschool Enrichment Program (PEP) that is run by Fremont Unified School District. You do not have to be a resident of Fremont to sign your child up. The class is 2 days (T/​Th) or 3 days (M/​W/​F) in the morning and is in Room 6 at Glankler School, next to Brier Elementary, which is very close to the Hub. Glankler is known to many people as the place where special needs kids go to school, but they also have this «mainstream» class and occasionally offer the children opportunities to play together– good for both groups! The PEP class is very diverse and is primarily play-​based learning. Both of my daughters learned to read in this environment (prior to attending kindergarten). The main teacher is Donna and she co-​teaches with Margie or Becky.
