Red Banks Resort

Wish I could give this place a 0 star… My husband and I called last Sunday and asked if there were rooms available and we were told they had vacancies. We drove there and we were told that they only had rooms for 1 person and not 2… so we asked when there would be room for 2 people and he said Thursday. So we waited till Thursday and called they told us it would take them till Saturday to clean the room up. So we called right away this morning when they opened and we were told they had no rooms and then we were hung up on… Not reliable at all. Go elsewhere!

I have been going to Red Banks for years. I have seen many customers of various race in and on the property, fishing on the dock, buying bait, renting boats and in the bar and restaurant, which, by the way has great food and drinks at reasonable prices.
Either you caught Bob on EXTEREMLY BAD DAY or the details of the complaint may be skewed.
Bob is one of the great guys on the river (his wife Rita is the greatest too), he’ll laugh with you, tell fish stories and he can make a mean cheeseburger!
My wife and I highly recommend a stop or stay at Red Banks, good food and nice people! Really.

I think Unilocal should have a negative 5 score on the review. I went there last week with several families for fishing white bass. But this turned into a disaster. We rented a boat and also bought their «deck fishing pass» as well. Bob (the owner) and his son Tom were really rude and shouted at us when we are trying to use the deck to unload families to eat in their bar. Bob even were saying cursing discriminating words against women and children. I wished I could video tape these and put it on youtube. If you wants to trade your self esteem for a few fishes, definitely try here. You will get what you want.

My girls were traumatized by Bob/​Red Banks 5÷16÷15. We booked guide service. Our inquiry calls were hung up on us. Then Bob refused to provide booked service. Bob told my eldest parking ok if the person in cabin did not use it. But after he realized it was our car, he charged to us, yelling, and forced us to leave, despite our dock passes entitling the stay. Seeing that we were alone waiting for my husband to return, Bob became more agitated and screamed. My two younger daughters were so frightened that they broke down and cry loudly. Ignoring my request to leave together, Bob kept yelling and demanded me and my three daughters to leave alone without my husband. We were forced to do so. Worrying for his safety, I drove back to find him. Bob blocked the entrance to the dock and yelled, «You can’t wait for him. If you don’t leave right now, I will call the police!» My daughters were so frightened that they kept crying for their dad, thinking cannot see him anymore. I called 911, we reunited and drove home. Our two younger daughters cried to sleep.
