Red Curbs Skate Shop

Not a lot of skate shops around these days. Went in looking for some bearings/​wheels for my son. Guy that greeted me knew his stuff and respected that I didn’t. Very informative and pretty cool little shop. Will be coming back again I’m sure.

My son was interested in getting into
we popped into red curb to check out some boards and get some knowledge on how to build a board. We where greeted right away by Jesse and he was very helpful on supplying us info on boards trucks wheels and bearing. We left with a board and I have one happy kid and great customer for life. Joe also helped assemble the board and was very friendly as well.

I love this little shop! Reminds me of underground skateshop back in the 80’s & 90’s. Dude gave us additional 20% off for back to school. Found graphic tees with designs I’ve never seen before. & we got free skate posters. I definitely will go back there for my sons new deck. I watch the dude get really involed with his customers choice of decks. Great selection of shirts and socks!

This is a great skateshop !! I went down there today to get some stuff for my son who is almost 3 years old and I was worried that maybe they wouldn’t have anything as he is still fairly small. When I got there I was impressed the store has a wide array of goods with a lot to choose from =)
The owner of the place was really helpful and took the time to show me a variety of options for my son and I was able to get him a complete mini Santa Cruz Marvel skateboard as well as pads and a helmet.
I was able to take my son to the skatepark afterwards and we had an AWESOME time !! =)
This is the second time I’ve gone there and I highly recommend them. Many thanks Red Curbs, you guys are the BEST !! See you soon.

Jesse was awesome, really mellow and of course knowledgeable. Our tween just got into skateboarding from our neighbor. She’s comfortable rolling on one and is still working on her turns. We told Jesse yesterday how she’s girly and likes blue. He immediately started showing her premade skateboards and when none caught her eye, he started showing her custom boards and talked about this Girly company. Jesse showed my husband options for trucks, bearings, and wheels as since our family was totally new to this sport, we wanted to keep cost in a certain range. It was fun to watch him put together her awesome, watermelon themed board. And Jesse, we appreciate you and your friend telling us about the instructors and their skateboarding lessons and private lessons available out there.

I bought a custom complete Creature the first week Jesse opened up the shop.
Jesse was very knowledgeable and patient as I selected the deck. I must have stepped on 8 or so decks before I chose my deck.
Then he took time to show all the components he had in stock … I selected my trucks, bearings and wheels.
Then Jesse did a fantastic job assembling my new ride … The last touch was a custom grip tape job allowing the creature logo to be visible.
Jesse was very helpful, and the selling point for me … A skater owned skate shop in the city I reside

You would think corporate stores like zumiez or vans would have variety when it comes to skateboarding, but they don’t. I wanted to get my grip tape replaced for my long board and both stores didn’t have clear grip tape. left me with shock. I searched up skate shops and I came across to Red Curbs. Small skate shop but with VARIETY! Service was great and didn’t charge extra to replace the tape. Gave her a nice tip though because removing grip tape is not an easy process. Overall this shop was cool. Definitely would come again. Check it out

They have good selection skateboards and accessories. Owner was very helpful with the questions. They recommended some upgrades on my kids existing skateboard and gave us a good price to do the upgrades.
