Renee Aminyar

Nestled in the back of Blooming Beauty Salon at Stoneridge mall Pleasanton is where you’ll find the coolest and most knowledged hairstylist ever. She shares a space with one other stylist, very lowkey and cozy. Long over due for a haircut, Renee transformed my hair to a beautiful clean classic bob. I have never met anyone so full of knowledge about hair! She’s awesome, friendly, down to earth and professional. I’m getting ready to schedule my highlights with her. This review is long overdue but Renee is a savior for hair! As a bridesmaid I needed to find someone close by the bride’s house and after many good Unilocal reviews I decided to try out her services and I’m glad I did! She was very accommodating to what style and trends I’m looking for in a classic updo for the wedding and perfectly placed curls where it didn’t look too tight. Everyone at the wedding kept complimenting me on the look! Thanks so much Renee!

Renee has been coloring my har for a little over 2 years now and I have to say that she is amazing, professional, and well knowledgeable. I have tried many stylist in the past and they completely ruined/​damaged my hair, or my expectations were never really met. Everytime I go to her, Renee brings my hair back to life. The trip from San Francisco to Pleasanton is worth it everytime. She is always patient with the hair process and makes sure its exactly how you want your hair to look like. Overall I would highly recomend Renee, she is amazing at what she does! :)

Just had a 2^nd time, quick ends trim. Renee was very informative and helpful towards my questions on dry ends due to coloring. I’m glad to have finally found my hair dresser and am coming back this Saturday for an ombré look!:)

I came here on a whim a few months ago, hoping to renew the ombré color I had already going on in my hair. It was growing out and it really wanted to add to it so after looking at pictures on Unilocal,it looked like Renee was pretty talented in that department.
Renee turned out to be extremely nice and very flexible with fitting me into her schedule which I was very impressed with. Just an all around nice, professional woman.
Unfortunately though, the look I was going for was not achieved and I was given highlights in which none of the original ombré that was already in my hair, was left to show. I thought I did a pretty decent job of showing her pictures and explaining what I was looking for but I must not have been clear. The haircut was alright, although I needed to perfect the bangs myself, once I got home.
We’ve all had haircuts and colors not turn out as planned and I wasn’t mad by any means, more so disappointed. Especially after paying $ 180 for a simple cut and some highlights. I can’t ever remember paying this much for hair services and this was before tip.
I ended up coloring my own hair weeks later and ended up with exactly what I wanted. I don’t know where the disconnect was but I was super bummed with the final product and even more bummed that the review couldn’t be a 5 star review.

Finally I found a hairstylist that works with my style!!. Apart of being very professional, Renee is a talented hair artist. Her continuous training shows cutting edge techniques that translate into awesome hair coloring and styles. I love my haircut, it’s fun and easy to fix.

Renee was amazing! I showed her a picture of an ombré look I wanted and she gave a great suggestion to go a little darker for the fall season. The color was perfect! She definitely knows what she’s doing. I would highly recommend her. The cost seem about right and she had a deal on Unilocal that helped make it a little less. :)

Ok ok ok I know I’m a little behind, However Renee Aminyar is AMAZING!!! Not only is she a wonderful colorist, her personality is sweet too. She gives you her honest opinion and she doesn’t sugar coat! She actually listens to what her clients has to say… I ran a few minutes behind and she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable for being late… I usually get headaches when people wash my hair but I was almost falling asleep when she washed my hair. lol… I not only left the salon feeling better about my hair, I actually felt more confident!!! My kids loved my hair which is always a plus!!!
What ever you do DON’T SLEEP ON RENEE AMINYAR!!! Disregard all negative reviews on the store and make your way to her!!! You will not be disappointed!!! I’m glad I found this place. I know where I’ll be getting my touch ups now:)

Randomly found her on Unilocal!looking for a good men’s hairstylist. Renee is very good & extremely nice. Did a great men’s cut & color for me. WIll definitely be back!

We are new to the area and my whole family goes to her. She is dynamite for men, women, and children. She is patient with the kids. She listens to your needs. She knows exactly how to make your hair one of your best features.

My sister and I needed a new hairdresser because we weren’t happy with ours anymore. We are really picky about who does our hair. We needed someone who knows what they are doing and especially someone who listens to what we want. Well Renee is all that. I first met Renee about a year ago she was then working in a different salon the moment we interacted I knew she was PROFESSIONAL. She makes you feel comfortable and understands that your hair is priority. The space is awesome. It’s small but it makes the experience feel more personal.
Renee has the best quality every hairdresser should have.
1.She has an expert eye for color. She will help bring out your inner goddess.
2. Her cuts are fantastic. You will leave feeling like you are ready for a brighter future. A sassier future in fact.
3. She’s quick! I’ve spent time at hair salons getting a cute and Renee is definitely much more efficient at what she does. Ladies we all know that getting GLAMOROUS takes time, but Renee makes it quicker than most.
I know. I gush. But I just couldn’t recommend her more highly. Everyone always compliments me on my hair. That definitely speaks for itself!

Renee is magic! She is who I have been searching as my perfect hair artist forever. I found her back in 2011. I had wanted some copper peek a boo highlights and thank my lucky stars I stumbled upon her! Love at first sight! She hit the cut and color on the head. Since then, he has taken me through every crazy idea I’ve had for a solid year. I’m a makeup artist so my wheels are constantly spinning. From the copper peek a boos to red all over, back to natural hair color to now electric purple peek a boos while keeping my hair shape the way I love it, Renee does it all and amazingly well! Every style gets me stopped on the streets! Renee will also never do anything that will damage your hair. She loves change and is always up for a challenge, but not at the expense of your hair having long term damage. She’s the sweetest, most relatable hair stylist I’ve ever met and if I ever needed a hair stylist on my freelance jobs, she’s the first person I’d call. I recommend her to any and everyone! ;*))

I have been cutting my hair with Renee for nearly two years now and followed her around the Bay Area where ever she was, even many times traveling a 100 mile round trip to do so. She is an exceptional hairdresser, is always up for a challenge and always exceeds my expectations. I just show her a photo of what I want and that’s what I get and more. As a person she is wonderful to be around and when you walk out of her salon, you will feel as if you’ve been out to a spa day. Thanks Renee!
