Having lived in fremont since 2005, this store has been our goto place for those last moment «outta Booz» nights, since it’s open till late. The owner is nice although not very helpful when it comes to alcohol advise, but what’s there that’s not there on the internet these days. So overall, a nice clean place, very centrally located and surprisingly never crowded. It’s like those sneak in sneak out places. How can people complain of alcohol prices … Yeah this place could be higher that your average target/Safeway that are closeby.

The woman who works there is not friendly. She seldom smiles or never. Get out of customer service already!
And beware of occasional increase in prices. One evening some younger male (perhaps a son) was working and he decided that he would charge more for items I had purchased there several times — by $ 2 more for each. Someone else went into the store to make the purchase for me and I knew the price was incorrect but the boy was adamant about the charge. I knew the price was not correct so I held on to the receipt. The next time I purchased the item it had returned to the cost I was originally charged. The man apologized and returned the difference and the woman still never smiled. One would think you’d just stepped into India and she really didn’t want you there — just so unwelcoming. Smile for Pete’s sake — it does the body good!
This is America — be nicer to Americans — this is our home!

My kid got gunk on his hands so I went in to ask the lady for one napkin, she said no and wanted me to buy a whole pack. Her husband seems so nice and I thought they were a cute old couple, but she’s not friendly. I like supporting small businesses but now i will now be buying my candy, lotto, ice cream and alcohol at friendlier places.

It’s Friday night. I was feeling thirsty and decided to drop by here to get a beer.
I intentionally stopped by this place because I want to support a local liquor store.
I got my can of beer and went to the register. I gave him my credit card because I was out of cash. He said they only accept cash/debit for small purchase such as mine.
I told him that I do not have cash and I am going to cancel my beer instead.
He immediately talk to his wife and daughter in their language as if he’s talking smack about me.
I ended up not getting my beer. I went home and drank water instead to quench my thirst.
Dude! I really want to support you guys but if you are being a cheapass and disrespectful like this then forget it.
I am so upset I really want to give a negative review if it’s possible.
Never again I am coming to this place, I’ll go to 7-eleven, walgreens or something where they don’t bitch about using a credit card for a small purchase.

I haven’t bought any liquor from them yet but they do have a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. I usually get a snack or two on my way home. I love how the place is kept clean and stocked. I don’t have the fear that I’ll step into something gross or have my bag stolen by hoodlums.
On my last visit I needed to get some cash from their ATM but it was out of service. The owner let me get cash back with my purchase and charged less than what I would be charged if I got money from the ATM.
I am a very happy customer! :)

I like this place because of a couple reasons:
It’s clean. It has to be one of the tidiest liquor stores I’ve ever been in.
The selection is huge. They may not have all the fancy labels like Bevmo but their stock & selection are pretty impressive.
The friendliness. I’ve met the owner & his wife. They always ask if I need assistance or if there is something I don’t see stocked that they could order for me.
It’s definitely worth 5 stars.

the grocery store is just too congested. they don’t have those big cart that one can stroll around the store but u can find most of the indian items here.
