Really wish I could have had a better experience. I walked in to inquire about making an appointment, I wasn’t greeted happily, but was instead sternly asked if I could be helped. I wasn’t sure if I was speaking to the owner, so I can’t speak for them. I kept my items in a bag and asked to make an appointment, since it had been the first time I saw the sign that said ‘by appointment only’ so I didn’t ask for my items to be viewed. The woman insisted on looking at my items and I didn’t decline. She opened my bag and didn’t bother to look at my Bebe heels. She pulls out my coach crossbody and tells me that she was actually selling the exact same purse. She shows me the purse, which is in perfect condition, mine was near mint, and tells me that mine doesn’t even look like it. She looks inside mine and sees the lack of creed and serial number. She blatantly tells me that mine is probably not real. This is not what an owner should say. Not only was my coach purse purchased from , my particular(and many other small items called ‘accessories’ by coach) line of crossbody bags don’t have the serial number. This is normal. She nevertheless takes a mediocre pictures of my items and sends it to her friend ‘that knows this stuff’. Why would you own a business like this when you have no knowledge of the items? She tells me that she’s booked until next month so she takes my number and never calls me. Even if she didn’t feel comfortable taking my items, it would be more forgiving to be told something like, ‘Sorry, we can’t confirm the authenticity of what you’ve brought us today, but you might have better luck somewhere else’

This shop is so cute & they have a lot of your girly-fashion needs. I picked up this cute dresss thang(posted it on the photos)! And I got it on sale! Can’t wait to hopefully go back to sell/trade my stuff too! ^_^

If you are a consignor, calculate how much taxes(federal, state, AMT etc.) you will save by donating the item to charity, such as the Goodwill. Tax return with and without the market value of the item as a charitable deduction on Schedule A. Also do for your state return. The higher your tax rate, the more taxes you may save and more likely to beat the proceeds you may get from Switch Consignment.

What can I say I love this store! My bf and I have been living in Niles for a few months now and recently just had our first newborn join the family. We heard about this store from my parents who suggested we take a look and we weren’t disappointed. First off the place is very clean and organized. The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The owners are especially nice. They def know how to make their customers happy! We ended up buying a jogging stroller and we got it at a great deal. Everything they have is steam cleaned and looks brand new once they have done their magic. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I would recommend it to anyone who has a newborn or infant and wants quality used clothes, strollers, shoes, bouncers… the list goes on as they have a lot of inventory. Thank you Marisol for a wonderful experience and for taking care of us… we will def be back!

New owners! Yay! Great place to get top labels for less. I love shopping here, they actually have my size shoes! They have a great collection of authentic Coach purses and other designer brands. Something is always on sale as they rotate our their inventory every 90 days. Great collection of handmade items too: scarves, greeting cards, jewelry. Don’t be fooled by the baby items in the front room. The new owners owned a baby consignment store and merged the two stores together. There is still plenty of women’s clothing, purses, shoes, coats and jewelry.
