I had such a fantastic experience at Timeless Treasures that I can’t give anything less than 5 stars. Last Sunday my mom and I spent most of the day combing all the other antique shops on the drag. We were tired so we almost didn’t stop at Timeless Treasures, but since it was on the way back to the highway and there was a convenient parking space as we approached, we decided to check it out. We’d been there before and remembered it mostly as «the place with all the Fiesta Ware,» so we were happy to see quite a few of our favorite Pyrex patterns on display this time. Then I wandered toward the back room and turned the corner and was struck by the proverbial thunderbolt: There, marked WAY down(to clear the section for a new vendor), was a beautiful waterfall style highboy dresser and matching vanity, complete with solid wood dovetailed construction, lovely veneer in a subtle chevron pattern with strips of vertical inlay, brass pulls with Bakelite inserts, and a big scallop-edged mirror. From what I was told, a couple had bought the set in the mid-40s from Wards and had held onto it all this time until finally selling it to Timeless Treasures. The story makes sense: My subsequent Googling revealed that this particular style of furniture was also called«newlywed furniture» because it was reasonably priced and young couples during the 30s and 40s could actually afford an entire bedroom suite. Then, even as their finances improved and stabilized, they would keep the furniture for decades because of the deep sentimental attachment. It was one of the prettiest things I’d ever laid eyes on and I wanted it… bad. Chris — such a warm and charismatic guy — answered my incessant questions with not only patience but with grace. He didn’t even flinch when my dad practically took everything apart to inspect it. But since it would have been the most I’d ever spent on anything for my home, I felt I owed it to myself to sleep on it. I left the store with a promise to call the next day with my decision. I crossed the street to follow my mom to another store, then turned on my heel, marched back to Timeless Treasures, and put down a big deposit on the set. No need to sleep on it after all… no way was I going to risk some other mofo swooping in on MY furniture. Chris negotiated a great price that essentially«waived» the delivery charge and we arranged for delivery after the new year holiday. He kept in touch with me all week, even sending me photos of the set to tide me over until delivery(in my excitement I completely forgot to snap pics). Then today he arrived exactly when promised and good-naturedly(not to mention nearly single-handedly) wrangled both pieces into my building and up an elevator to my apartment. This was no small feat considering that he had to deal with a partial hill and crappy parking. Once he had moved everything exactly where I wanted it, he gave me very specific care instructions to keep the veneer looking good. I feel like he was happy to see the pieces find a new home where they would be loved for many more years to come. I promise to take good care of them, Chris!

Chris was fantastic! The piece of furniture brought was a gift to my fiancée. The piece was built in 1908′ with only one owner. The owners were delightful and Chris is hilarious! If any feedback at all, I was a little put off by the delivery. We live in SF and deliver was FREE, but waited for hours for the items — otherwise, I would rate a 5stars!

I was trying to sell antiques to Chris and his wife, but found his wife to be very disrespectful. Chris was very understanding and willing to bargain with me, while his wife really tried to take advantage of the situation. I get it, your there to make money, but as your customer, I would suggest you work on your people skills.

The store has a lot of variety and I found really cute vintage clothes for a great price and a bunch of cool antiques for my kitchen!!! They also had really nice furniture, but it was a bit out of my price range(but reasonable for the quality). Great little gem at Niles!!!
