I love the Verde in Mountain View. Tried coming here for my favorite drink once. This place just isn’t the same…

The food is very good more than I expected with affordable price. The service was fast. I will definitely come back to try other foods and drinks.

So, I was quite devastated when the Cupertino location got shut down due to leasing issues. I came back to this place this past Sunday and it was just as great as I remembered it to be. I ordered the jasmine green milk tea, very frothy. Sad, that it’s so far from San Jose, but it’s worth the drive.

Very bland taste. This place doesn’t quality ingredients but rather cheap versions like powder and coconut water for their coconut drinks lol. The boba and the service here is good but the drinks are unsatisfying

Love love love! The only reason for 4 stars is because my seafood udon noodle soup was just mediocre(it’s definitely what you expect from an average joint not specializing in soup noodles). Also, their fried tofu was aightt — a little bit bland and the sauce wasn’t the greatest. I had to add salt and pepper to taste. Other than that, I highly recommend their iced honey milk tea(from this location and the Cupertino one)! And my boyfriend also loves their almond milk tea(I thought it was okay… it tastes like the Asian almond jello pudding dessert). I would order half sweet because their drinks are usually skewed toward the sweeter spectrum. The boy also ordered their chicken leg combo and I thought that was pretty delicious for a tea spot… although they do advertise that they serve lunch and dinner so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised. Included in the combo are rice with minced pork, scoop of diced and spiced potatoes and carrots, one piece of tofu, a soy sauce infused egg and daikon. Lastly, the $ 4.50 minced pork rice comes with an egg… yay! That was my lunch the next day :)) Both dine-in meals come with the choice of green tea or black tea, or $ 1 off another drink on the menu. AWESOME! That was one heck of a satisfying meal! WILLBEBACK; HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

Been here on two occasions and just not impressed. First time I came here, ordered the calamari, which was very bland(gimme that spice packet!). Second time I came here, they were out of almond milk tea(came on a Sunday afternoon), so I opted for the hot coconut milk tea. The coconut milk tea had little pellets of coconut powder that would not dissolve, even when I tried to mix it with the coffee stirrer. I’m not sure if it’s because I drank it on an empty stomach, if they used creamer, or because of the coconut powder pellets, but my stomach felt a bit upset afterwards. My friend loves this place though, so I’m going to give the benefit of the doubt. Plus, maybe I’ll have better luck with the cold boba drinks. Until then!

Aw man, I thought this place was gonna be good, but I was totally let down. I came here with Amy T on a Sunday night. It was pretty dead. The restaurant(?) is split into two sections. One section is for the to-go which is drinks + some appetizers; the other section is for sit down food. The weird thing is that the to-go section is although they say its for appetizers, it’s basically just popcorn chicken and/or drinks. Any other food item will have to be in the sit-down section which is a minimum of $ 5 a person. We got the Earl Grey Milk tea and the hot Honey Lemon Tea. Both of which were really just meh at best. The milk tea tasted like cream and was wayyyyyy too sweet for my liking. I honestly could not taste the Earl Grey. The Lemon tea was okay. Not as lemon-y as I would like it, especially for an herbal tea. I don’t know. There’s so many options for tea in the area, so unless I’m already in this plaza, I don’t see myself coming back here.

Good popcorn chicken and good place to hang out(which I did a lot here in high school). I only get the green milk tea with pearls when I want something creamy(and kind of powdery). Considering there are hundreds of options in Fremont/the Bay Area, I would only come here if I was in the area or if I was seriously craving some creamy foamy milk tea and fried snacks.

Large portions and reasonable prices! I came here for dinner and ordered the salmon salad and salted fried chicken over rice, it comes with green or black tea, or you can order another drink with $ 1 off. The portions are very big and I think that it’s such a great deal with a green/black tea! I like to get an almond milk tea or green milk tea with pudding here. Normally I prefer places with drink that have a strong, authentic tea taste, but sometimes I crave something sweeter and more frothy, and this is the place for that! The food here is decent, it comes out really fast so if you’re looking for a quick meal, this is the place to go! It’s also pretty cheap, so you get the quality that you pay for. Service is a little slow; it seemed too busy for two waitresses. They were very friendly though! The food isn’t super fresh, but it is what you pay for!

Standard boba place in Warm Springs area. The boba prices are reasonable, might even be on the cheaper end considering you can get a pearl drink as big as your face for $ 3 – 4. Prices are not like that anymore for comparable boba places around the South Bay. One thing I do not like about this place is that there is a $ 5 minimum charge for each person for the restaurant area. It is a strange policy. Otherwise, it’s not really place to socialize with friends if you’re only drinking boba. It’s catered towards people who usually grab and go.

Update! Their salty fried chicken is pretty good and comes with a couple sweet potato fries tossed in. It’s not too pricey and comes out relatively quickly. I ordered a regular size drink this time because I’m trying to cut back on the sweets, and I feel like they skimped on the grass jelly! There were maybe three medium sized chunks in there. I’d definitely upgrade next time. I always forget to ask for less sweetness & ice, but usually it turns out okay. It was suuuuuper sweet this last time though! I’m slightly disappointed, but this is still an overall great place for a quick snack. On average, I’d say my chicken takes 8 – 12 minutes to come out with a few people ahead of me. A good amount of families with kids come and sit in the actual dining area. The service is usually super friendly, as long as you can get their attention!

Came here around 9PM! Fremont doesn’t have very many places open after 8PM, and this is one of those hidden gems! You can choose to dine in here, but I think it’s ridiculous you have to sit on the other side. Anyhow… We ordered the: –Red Bean milk tea with boba //YUmmy. Luckily not too sweet, and the boba was chewy but not too hard. Boba is not sweet though, so luckily we got red bean. Pros: –Quick service. We got our drink within 10 minutes. –Spacious sitting. It’s a small location, but they have booths for you to sit with your friends. –Huge selection of drinks! This place focuses mainly on their drinks, and not as much desserts. But it’s okay because they do do their drinks well! –Cheap prizes. Large cup of boba for only $ 2.95? Or $ 3.95? Definitely got the bang outta my buck! Cons: –Meh service. Did not encourage any reward system(found it on my own), or give us a smile. –Dark lighting. I get they have a bar atmosphere, but it was so dark on the dining area side, it seemed like the people there were eating in the dark. TIps/Observations: –Parking lot is spacious! Beware, right in front of store is 15 minutes parking.) –They have happy hour but not exactly sure for what… or what deals there are. –They have 5 Stars rewards and Verde Tea Rewards Card! Ask them if you are a frequent! Overall, would love to come here again! It’s pretty far from the other boba places(2 miles or so?) but my boyfriend is right– this place is definitely better than the other boba places we have tried in Fremont. Come check it out if you can!

3 stars only because their fried yam/sweet potatoes come with plum powder on them and it’s not a taste I’m too fond of. It’s too much… Sweet potatoes already have their own flavour The milk tea is really a milk foam so watch out for that! Doesn’t taste much different but your drink will have a lot of fluff sitting at the bottom of the cup. Pink valentine slush is REALLY rose-y. It’s like drinking a perfume. Tastes better when it melts a little

Verde Tea Expresso Bar isn’t. it’s more like a sit-down eatery. back room is dine in for noodles and full entrée items. front side sitting is dine in for snacks. only drink menu is posted overhead. edibles are on a different menu. drink: earl grey milk tea(2.95) –slightly sugary, tea taste not smothered by sugar. –nice taste. –notice syrups in plastic containers, italian sodas not used here. sips: –quick service, few patrons at opening time.

This is one of my favorite boba places and I am hoping the Verde in Cupertino will open up again. This Verde has lot of space and good teas! They have seating inside for people who are waiting for drinks, as well as a larger area further inside with more seats for people who are eating. The drinks are always good here and come out very quickly. My personal favorite is the grapefruit green tea, but other great drinks are the passion fruit green tea, passionfruit freeze, pearl milk tea, and honey milk tea.

Hazelnut milk tea! That’s the way it’s supposed to be! Ahh after noisy One Tea, my sis and cousins drove over, such a serene environment. Milk teas remain phenomenal here and there’s no minimum amount you have to purchase to dine inside like the one that closed in Cupertino. $ 10 minimum for CC though. The cuzzos ordered hazelnut milk teas, mango freezes, Thai milk teas, verde journey freeze(avocado & green tea), and an Oreo freeze. My mom ordered the salmon teriyaki over mixed greens once and liked it. Service is polite and our cashier repeated all of our drinks to ensure everything was correct. Sugar level adjustment is possible! And they’ll indicate which is which with a sharpie.

Aw poor Verde getting hated on after all of these milk tea places started opening up. I would definitely rate it a 3.5 if I could but I don’t want to bring the ratings down here. Usually I prefer my milk tea with fresh and strong tea like Ten Rens. However, sometimes I just have a strong craving for a creamier sweeter drink and Verde will do the trick! Yes, there’s Gong Cha too but I don’t know what it is, sometimes I just want some good ol’ verde. I usually get frothy Jasmine milk tea here and it hits the spot! The best thing about Verde is their snacks like popcorn chicken or calamari. Pretty cheap and big portions. Hopefully this place will survive! Still had business when I come but not as busy.
