Ok this place is pretty bad. So one day after visiting one best noodle places in the same plaza(Aberdeen Café) we decided to go check this place out. I don’t know if it was because it was late at night(9:00 ish) on a weeknight or what, but the yogurt just wasn’t good. I eat a lot of yogurt and this place has got to be the worst. I got a sample cup and tried all their flavors and did not like a single one. The yogurt felt like it was full of air, not cold, and too thick. The bottom line is just it just tasted«weird». Seriously the Mc Donald’s 99 cone or yogurt tasted 10x better than this. However, I did not want to walk out of the store without buying anything since I tried all their flavors. So instead I just bought $ 2.00 worth of tangerine toppings(you know the ones you get from a can or jar) and left.

The yogurt was way way way too sweet. It made me a bit sick after finishing my cup. If you’re a fan of really sweet foods, then maybe you’ll like this place, but it was a miss for me.

I used to work at a froyo place, so I know what I am talking about. I’ve been there a few times because it is close to my work, but the last time I went there, it seems like they changed the owner. The store is a chill place to just eat and enjoy. There was not much flavor, so I just picked taro, blueberry and original tart. Taro was great. It is thick, flavorful, and not icy. I like how it is soft and creamy too. Tart was an okay since I’ve tasted better. Blueberry did not stand out at all. I dont think it even tasted like blueberry. It was just tangy and sweet. Toppings were blahh. Too much dry toppings. I just had some fruits, mochi and jelly. I took a bit of their canned orange, and oh my! it was too sour. It was expired ! So, I told the lady, whom I guess is an owner, and she immediately tossed the orange toppings away and asked if I wanted to get a new one. I didn’t want to make a new one so I just told her I will just add more toppings instead of throwing away. She was a generous owner. Later, she offered me a stamp card with everything stamped so the next time, I could get a free yogurt, plus some discount coupons: D Great service: D I’m going back there on Monday

35 cents non icy, non creamy, NONGOOD yogurt. the yogurt was way too diluted. The toppings were so-so. I spent seriously 10 minutes debating what I should get and in the end my yogurt came out to be 1.17 cents. yeaaaaaa, not because it was cheap, but the yogurt wasn’t appealing to me. Word of advice, save yourself the trouble and drive a MINUTE down to café verona, where they can show you what REALYOGURT is like.

Easily the worst froyo place I’ve had the unfortunate displeasure of trying. The original tart is passable and all the fruit flavors taste horribly artificial. Stay away.

This place is no good… the moment the froyo came out of the machine I knew it was too soft, too melty. Standard toppings. Not cheap(I forget the pricing but I just remember thinking it wasn’t worth the price). Nothing special at all. Although, if you are a Britney fan, they play her music videos non-stop on their wide-screen TV. Hah.

Like one of my Elite buddy says, froyo spots are oversaturating the market like how Starbucks dominated the coffee world. But what makes a yogurt spot really successful? Quality. Despite Yogurt Bee’s friendly staff, and their great location in the shopping plaza, I give Yogurt Bees 3 out of 5 stars. The consistency of the yogurt is great, more on the icy side so it stays frozen rather than extra cream which melts quicker. The flavors are standard, nothing extaordinarily good, but nothing horrible either.

Watered down yogurt, three out of the four flavors had a weird chemical taste, limited selection of flavors and toppings compared to Yoswirl. Worst of all, both my wife and I got a headache after eating here.

I LOVE this place! I came here for the first time today and the worker/owner there was so friendly and helped me with the concept since I’m new to it. I read past reviews and saw that one of the reviews said that there wasn’t any cap’n crunch, and of course that’s like the best topping to go with yogurt. I asked the worker/owner there about when they started having it and he said it was a recent thing because he read the reviews and thought it’d be a good addition. I think it’s great how he takes into consideration what his customers like and want and goes out to get it just to satisfy them/us. Definitely coming back again. The TVs are super cool! Can’t believe they have a PS3! :)

Maybe they listened to my complaint because now they have Cap’n Crunch!

Out of all the frozen yogurt places I’ve tried, I would say that this one isn’t great but isn’t that horrible. There isn’t much of a selection of flavors for the yogurt. And most of the time the yogurt is all watery. The amount of toppings is spectacularly okay but more that what is given for the yogurt here. the price was not really worth it. I mean, for a watery frozen yogurt, I didn’t really want to waste $ 6.50 on it. But its an okay place to visit for a quick bite.

This place is new and we checked it out. The owners are still working on making it «what you want». The self-serve machines are few, with only four flavors and a small toppings station. Place is nice and clean and open late. I like that, need some where to chill after a hard day of hunting. But I wish that it had more seating, only fits about 10 people in the shop. Great stamp card though, only need to get 8 to complete it.

An enterprising little fro-yo place with cheap pricing. Two-for-one specials on Monday, Wednesday and Friday bring the effective price to 17 cents /oz, some of the cheapest fro-yo out there. It is not a part of any chain and serves fro-yo made by various food service companies, which have a mainstream blandness about them. They offer the usual array of toppings(mochi, fruits, candies, etc). It fits nicely with the bargain-basement character of shops in this strip mall.

the design, if any, of yogurt bees is strange. one wall is lit beige, another is greenish, and still another is… yes, due to the arrangements of the fogurt machines, and the toppings area, you get the sensation there are only three walls in yogurt bees. flatscreen above cashier for entertainment. pricing: 35cents per ounce with toppings, there is some kind of discount in effect.. 8 fruit toppings and 15 dry toppings. asian toppings: mochi and 4 kinds of jelly. lychee was deliz. blueberry fresh. flavors available: –mango:don’t remember what it tastes like –green tea faint –blueberry: bland euro tart: tart but not extremely tart –taro –chocolate yogurt drips: –dispensing machine is electro freeze which runs fast and has a larger dispensing orifice than other machines. –some ambrosia yogurt is sold here. ambrosia is affiliated with midland archer daniels. –yogurt comes from instantwhip crop., some kind of food conglomerate. –fro-yo texture is solidly firm, not icy. turns creamy after a while. flavors faint or not distinguishable.

If you’re a lover of eating Cool Whip straight up, buzz on into this joint and have your fix. The yogurt(original) was so light, fluffy, and airy — which would be awesome if I was a five-year-old describing, say, a cloud — but an absolute disaster for fro-yo texture, and the stomach. I ate so much extra air I had to had my wife burp me when I was finished. The worker drone was refilling the toppings(none of which were honey) when we arrived at the hive. Juice was pooling in the containers of should-be-dry toppings like raspberries, which led me to think they were actually trying to attract bees inside, to be true to the namesake. After all, really, Yogurt Bees? We had to ask for napkins and spoons, and no frequent flyer, I mean buyer card was in sight. Queen bee, where were you? For now, I’d say just leave-er-bee and take your bees-ness to swarm-friendly Frozo or Yoswirl.

I’ve been craving froyo for a while and decided to drop by during my lunch break. When I walked in at 12:40ish, the place was dead quiet, not a visitor in site. The lady that greeted me was quite friendly. Business must’ve been slow since she told me to be careful since she just mopped the floor. I asked for samples first and tried the green tea and harvest peach. Green tea tasted okay, with a slight hint of tart. The harvest peach was not tart and was too sweet for my liking. I ended up getting original tart and green tea and topped it with a crushed almonds, mochi, and tri-colored Asian jellies. The original tart had a really weird texture, like I was squirting out sour cream or something. When I tasted my first bite of it, it just reminded me of plain yogurt I can buy at the supermarket(not even Activia quality). The taste just didn’t taste right for some reason, and it just didn’t help that it didn’t look right either. I’m glad I put toppings on there, since it definitely helped with killing the«foul» flavor. The green tea was a lot better than the original. The taste of the green tea had just the right amount of tea taste to it and the texture was definitely a lot better. I like to judge a froyo place with the freshness of their mochi. The mochi was pretty good here, nice and soft and chewy, unlike some places which taste a bit stale. There were other froyo flavors I didn’t bother trying — mango, vanilla, and strawberry. Just judging from the ambiance, the place doesn’t appeal to me much… with all the major froyo places around the Bay Area, I would just have to say tough competition, buddy. At least the lady at the counter was nice though…

I am surprised that this place did not get better reviews. My Man and I are constantly trying new places and thought this was a total 5. Overall: This place is super cute and is one of the best FroYo places in Fremont. The service is great and the yogurt is D-Lish! Not to mention that the price is way affordable and they even have coupons on the website. Don’t forget to ask for a frequent buyer card. Flavors: Self– Serve. Yay! If you have read my other reviews you know that this is very important to me. Extra star for having the kind of machines where you can mix the two flavors. — Vanilla Ambrosia: Mmmm… this was a sweet and D-licious flavor. Creamy just the right thickness. Wow! — Green Tea: Good, same as everywhere else. — Mango: This was a good icey yogurt. — Peach Nectarine: WOW. This paired perfectly with the Vanilla Ambrosia. — Strawberry: This was a great icey yogurt! — Original Tart: Good. Toppings: Also self serve nice diverse selection with fresh mochii! Décor: So cute. The place is well lit and bright. 2 flat screens. They even have cute little arrows on the floor shaped out of tile.

I must admit that I had never been much of a froyo fan, but ever since I started a modified version of the Warrior Diet( ) to get cut up for the summer, I realize that it indeed makes a great snack. Most recently, I’ve found myself consuming it for lunch 3 – 4 times a week, and have been seeing some great results. The scene of the crime? Frozo’s in Milpitas( ). Luckily for me, that place is pretty darn good, but then again, my basis for comparison is quite slim, so I’m not necessarily the best person to ask what great froyo really tastes like. However, much to my delight, a few months ago, I noticed a bit down the street at the Little Taipei mall a shop with a «Coming soon» banner, and it was obvious what they were going to serve judging by the name — Yogurt Bees! Needless to say, I was more than elated to soon have another establishment to satisfy my yogurt fix, and add to my collection. Weeks had passed, and still no ceremonial switching of the sign to finally say«Grand opening…» until now! The day had arrived this past week, and as any good Unilocaler would do, it was time to earn that vaunted«First to review» badge!(Unfortunately, the owner himself beat me to it.) Upon arrival, the first thing I noticed was that much of the writing on the window is in Chinese, with mention of how healthy and delicious froyo is. What really caught my eye was the one that read«35 cents per ounce,» much cheaper than many other places, including the 39 at Frozo’s. The décor is a bit brighter, with little tiles embedded in the walls, and the machines tucked behind them, sort of reminiscent of Orange Tree( ) or YoSwirl( ). There are only three tables, and although the previous reviewer(the owner) mentions free Wi-Fi, I had to leach off of Café Ophelia( ) next door because the worker herself told me the phone lines aren’t even up yet! As for the froyo itself, I tried the normal vanilla, and some combination of blueberry and strawberry. It’s not bad, but not as flavorful as others I have tasted. The texture is not too hard, nor mushy, but it just lacks the kick in your mouth. Furthermore, the selection of toppings is quite limited, and nowhere near Frozo’s ridiculously insane stash of fruits, nuts, and cookies. In short, I’m glad that there is another froyo shop in my work area to patronize, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t yet have quite enough to pull me away from my tried and true usual haunt. Yogurt Bees earns a solid 3* for the froyo itself, 4* for the cute environs, but –1* for the fake reviews(a reflection on the ownership). Another positive attribute is that their stamp cards give you a free yogurt after only six tries, as opposed to the normal ten. I’ll probably come back soon to give it another whirl, but in the meantime, «Four* zo’s» wins out over«Yogurt Threes*.» *Edit* The fake reviews have now magically disappeared! So, I actually did earn my «First to review» badge! I think I’m more proud of the fact that I actually beat out«Froyo Girl» for this honor! =P
