Worth my 40 minute drive just for their beer selection!!! Holy walk-​in cooler Batman! Now it’s not as sweet as your bigger city liquor stores but for the area this place is top notch! Some VERY VERY cool microbrews that I haven’t seen in a long time including some new ones that I bought far too many of! My new favorite is the Orange Ginerbeer (alcoholic). SO YUM! They also carry Deep Eddy vodkas which I haven’t seen anywhere.
The proprietors are incredibly friendly and helpful and make it a great experience while you’re there. Completely worth your time if you’re within an hour driving distance… just make sure you bring enough $$ because you’ll end up spending more than you think!

I just have to say that this place is legit!
When I encountered a problem with my purchase, it was immediately reconciled with the utmost importance and respect. The entire team at Big Red Liquors is A-​OK in my book.
It would be easy to say that this place has the best selection of «drinks» in French Lick, but that would be doing this store a disservice… because this store would be a tough competitor in ANY big town. The liquor, wine and beer options are top quality, but it’s the availability of the ancillary items that make this place a one-​stop shop.
The walk-​in cooler alone is worth the trip. I’m confident in saying this store has the coldest beer in town :)
