I visited this deli today before my daughter entered her reading class at St. Johns University. Truly a nice experience! This place is clean very well organized. Had a few tables in the front which was nice because we wanted to eat there. The owner is so funny and very friendly. The guy preparing the food was very nice too. Food was good and reasonably priced. Others in my family have visited this deli but it was my first time. I will be back because this is my type of place.

I go to get a pack of gum every once in a while. Their sandwiches are bad and their service is just ok. I asked for sugar in my coffee and the lady had the nerves to say that sugar isn’t good for me. Excuse me??? Lady, put sugar in my coffee and I’ll let the doctor tell me what’s good and not good for me.

As soon as I entered the establishment the gentleman at the cash register greeted me with a good morning and a pleasant smile. Found him to be very welcoming and friendly. The place appears uncluttered and clean. Gave him my order and I watched as it was prepared on the spot. End result, my sandwich was tasty.
