Fresh Scent Laundromat

Let me start this by saying that I would love to give this place 5 stars, even though I somehow selfishly would have liked to keep Fresh Scent as my little secret best laundromat. However, I must be truthful in what has become a problem to a great place. During there Anniversary celebration (which ended 11÷1÷15) the price of the washing machines were: $ 1.00, $ 2.00, $ 3.00 and $ 6.00. At the end of the Anniversary, the prices were change: $ 1.00, $ 3.50, $ 4.50 and $ 6.50. The problem, believe it or not, is that they did not raise the price on the $ 1.00 machine to either $ 2.50 or $ 2.75. Now why would anybody writing a review want the price to go UP? Because what has happens is that selfish people hog up all the available $ 1.00 machines, rather than pay more that triple the price for the next sized machine.
If the $ 1.00 machines were $ 2.50÷2.75, it would still be competitively priced. I don’t know of any other place with $ 1.00 machines. But I believe that this selfish HOG like behavior, which I have seen cause fights, would end. Besides, Fresh Scent has the best machines around, the nicest staff and free parking. Please raise your price.

Even though I have my own washer and dryer at home, I still come here to wash super dirty clothes such as after Paintball, or doing a Mud Race. They are open 24 hours which is a nice plus for those who have work hours. The cheapest machine is $ 1.50, then $ 2.00, etc. Bring your own detergent, the tide pods are nice to use, and not messy. The back has full service but never had a need for it yet-​i don’t think they have dry cleaning here but I could be wrong. Check it out!

Used the drop off/​pick up service … It was ok till they lost my laundry…& found it 2 months later. When I asked where it was and how it was found the response was «it fell out of the sky».

When I first started to do my laundry at Fresh Scent, the double loader cost $ 1.50. The double loader increased to $ 1.75 then to $ 2.00 after a few years later. I couldn’t complain b/​c of the natural progression of inflation and there was still ample parking. I am the type of individual that cannot tolerate crowds and ignorant rude people so I do go out of my way just to be a patron of Fresh Scent b/​c I feel that the attendants are reasonable. The movie theater, Hala kitchen, and Huka Lounge (closed down, thank god) have deteriorated the parking through the years so I just decided to reschedule my laundry slot to a later time just to avoid the crowd. Recently, the price of the double loader decreased to $ 1.00. I was stoked and siked on the price but I knew it was too good to be true. They were either losing market share or trying to gain market share before the big switch over to the new and improved pricing. Long and behold my hunch became reality. I went to do laundry today and I saw the double loader at $ 2.50. My heart sank south but I am here already so there is not really anything I can do. So like shopping for a car, we all try to look for the best deals but sometimes you are willing to pay the market price for convenience. Fresh Scent is now servicing and complying to the market price for a double, triple, and family size loader. I will still be a patron of Fresh Scent dispite the price increase b/​c I feel the facilities are still cleaner and the patrons are not as rude as I experienced from the other neck of the woods.
