I have been coming here since 1988, when Angelo was the owner. Through the years I have only had positive experiences with the barbers, all the way up to Solomon, his son is also a great barber.

The owner/​operator Solomon and sons always welcome you with a smile and ask how you’ve been, which you can tell is genuine and not just small talk. I’ve been going to Rustic Barber Shop for over 15 years and Isaac has been cutting my hair for almost 10. Solomon and Isaac are always very good with their customers and will work with you to get whatever cut you want. I recently switched up my style a year ago. I showed Isaac some pictures of what I wanted it to look like, he reviewed the details of what I was getting into and asked if I wanted it with certain components. We went for it and he nailed it the very first time.
When you go to this Barber, it feels like you’re walking into somebody’s home. They treat you with professionalism and with this Barber you get a haircut and some good stories and sometimes even jokes! If you live in the neighborhood and are trying to find a go to Barber, try them out. The neighborhood has stuck with them all this time, and I’m no different. Come here and become a loyal customer. As they say, «If you’re loyal to your Barber, you’ll be loyal to your wife.»

Best barber in Town, I drive all the way from NJ to get a haircut from this place, was recommended by my couple of my workers from the city to try this barbershop in Fresh Meadows. Very classic and professional barbers. Solomon had been cutting my hair for over 9 years, and my son loves coming here as well, he doesn’t go to any other barbers around my neighborhood, once I brought over my family to Solomon’s barbershop my son felt very comfortable and attached to my barber. Isaak Solomon’s son cuts my sons hair while I get a haircut with my barber with They really treat you like Family. Best Barber and top haircuts. Keep up the Good work. I’ve been going to Solomon’s for over 20 years now after he took over for the previous owner, and it is just like going home to family. I live about 20 miles away in the Bronx, and even after I moved away from Queens some 17 yeas ago, I have only gone to Solomon (and his son Isaac) for my haircuts. They deliver quality and affordable haircuts, always clean, friendly with great conversation, and they treat you just like family. I recommend Solomon to anyone living in Queens and anywhere in the five boroughs of NYC — it is well worth the trip!

Got my first haircut here when I was a couple of years old, and now at 23 years old, I am still getting my hair cut at this wonderful shop. Solomon is quite honestly a master of his trade and his son Isaac learned from the best, and is therefore just as good. I trust my hair in either of their hands and they will always deliver the desired results, all while caring for you in a homey, casual setting and for an average price. Call ahead and they will give you an honest estimate of when to come, in order to avoid any wait time.

It’s been over Twenty fiver years that I have been blessed to have «Solomon» at Rustic Barber in Fresh Meadow as my barber. He’s a stylist and a professional who i am very proud to say has become my friend.
When i visit with Solomon, i enter a shop full of warmth and caring. Solomon invites you to join him as if it was his own home with a wonderful collection of singing birds; magazines, and a Wide screen TV.
This is an honest man with reasonable prices. You will know you have experienced a quality haircut without breaking the bank.

My husband has been coming to this barbershop for the last decade and for him a good barbershop is a must, his hair is hard to fade if the barber isn’t skilled enough. He always requests for Solomon because Solomon does a great job in a timely manner for him. The wait is only ever a few minutes because he calls ahead of time. He always comes home with a clean cut and as handsome as ever, I’ve never seen his hair get «messed up,» so that’s a plus. The haircut runs about $ 13-​$ 15 My husband believes in supporting quality mom & pop shops in our neighborhood and thus, he still visits Rustic Barbershop even though he could travel 5 minutes further to get a $ 6 hair cut + shoulder massage in Flushing. The only con is the recent inflation by $ 1.00…

Good service but if your picky you have to tell them or they will not make it the way you like. Be aggressive and nice to these barbers because they are only two few.
