The owner of this company, Joe Ferguson, definitely deserves a five star rating for his honesty and customer service. I discovered AC Solutions through a Google search a few years back. We had a clogged kitchen sink and during this visit he was professional and reasonably priced. Fast forward to present day and I had some major issues occurring all at once, heater didn’t work and our two year old washer stopped working. He was able to fix the heater with no issue but the washer was a little more challenging. Joe worked on the washer and ordered the part he felt would solve the issue. The part took a few days to arrive and because I was tired of lugging our laundry to the laundry mat I decided to call another repairman in hopes that he could fix the washer quicker. The other repairman arrived 15 minutes late for the appointment and was only at my house for 20 minutes but was unable to diagnose the problem and suggested that a part replacement was needed before he could diagnose the issue. The other repairmen quoted me the price of the part needed(which was the same part that Joe ordered) and said he could order it for me. I asked him to hold off for a few days. The part Joe ordered came in after a few days, Joe installed it and the washer works great. Joe charged an honest price for the part, $ 25 dollars less than the other repairman, and a cheaper service fee rate, $ 20 dollars less than the other repairman. Since I am still a newbie home owner I learned a valuable life lesson with this experience. I learned that when a serviceman does an in-site inspection he will charge a service fee even though he doesn’t fix the issue. In addition, the serviceman is also able to charge you a fee even if he isn’t at your home for the full hour. It was definitely a very expensive life lesson.
