As an avid crafter, designer and all-around creative person, I love craft and art supply stores and can spend hours in them looking at everything. I’ve been coming to Aaron Brothers for years and it’s owned by Michael’s. They’re a lot smaller than Michaels or Jo-Ann’s, but their emphasis is more on frames, custom framing and fine art supplies. I don’t come here that often because my crafting needs are catered to more at Michael’s and Jo-Ann’s. They accept competitor’s custom framing coupons and possibly the other coupons, but you’d have to ask. They do have regular sales, but they don’t have 40% or 50% off one item coupons regularly like Michael’s or Jo-Ann’s does. They do have really great sales at least a couple times a year like buy one get one for 1¢ on frames and sketchbooks so keep your eyes peeled if you’re in the market for those. They only have a few employees, mostly at the custom framing desk so if you need help look there. Today’s visit I spent at least 10 minutes in there looking through the art supplies and picked up a couple of brushes during their 50% off open stock brushes sale. No one greeted me, asked me if I needed help, nothing. I’m usually a shopper who goes in knowing what they want or I’m there to just see what’s new so I don’t need much assistance. For good business and service, you’d think someone would at least ask you if you needed any help when the place is empty. Finally when I went to pay kinda had to track someone down since no one is near the entrance and registers.

This shop has poor customer service and expensive prices. Why even bother? I think you get better service and a better deal at Michaels.

You need a frame they probably have it. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Not much else to say about a frame store :)

Great choices in frames! I mean, it says«framing» on the brand name so it definitely does that. art? not so much. They are very friendly and very helpful, the prices on the art supply is regular price. I mean, if you want cheaper art supply, you can find it elsewhere, but I love the immense number of frames and the staff are super helpful.

Another blast from the past. Art supplies are few and far between in Fresno, so this and Allard’s are the only real good games in town. Bought a bunch of 4×5 Polaroid film back in the day. They carry other decent photo supplies for you non digital photographers but you’re not truly going to be mail catalog prices. It’s more about convenience or immediate gratification.

Do you need a piece of fine art or a photograph professionally framed? Do you want beautiful work done in a timely manner? Then you need Aaron Brothers. Do you want it done for cheap? Do it yourself. They have all the supplies you need for that too. Although a small store, they have many frames, mats, and other art products to keep you browsing for awhile. I went looking for artwork hangers that do not need to be hammered into a wall and found none, but they had lots of the regular type of hangers.
