This place has a lot of interesting finds. Now with that being said, if you are a male, younger, ethnic or anything other than an older white woman… you will be stared down and made to feel VERYVERY uncomfortable. These women do not like anything out of the square box which they live in. But. they still have very nice items, so okay, someone thinks your a criminal, go with. :)

American Cancer Society is FUBU– For Us By Us– for grannies. No disrespect because the volunteers do a fantastic job of making this thrift shop very clean and well lit. Each item was carefully curated, but maybe the donations were made by more mature people because I couldn’t find much to browse. Usually, I love thrift stores for the random score and cheap classical music CDs, but there were none to be found :( This would definitely be the place to donate my gently worn and comfy granny sandals that my husband desperately wants me to get rid of. I’ll decide when ;) Look for this store in the Save Mart mall

They only accept high quality donations here so there is none of the grime you encounter at most thrift stores. I never fail to find something here I can’t do without that either looks or actually is brand spanking knew but isn’t priced that way. A brand new solid wood chest style Thomas Kinkaide music box for fifteen dollars? Dont mind if I do! A gorgeous bone china tea cup and saucer set that was handcrafted in England for eight dollars? Yes please. Could I get a cup and saucer set from Goodwill for three? Sure I could but it would be some made in china garbage that sold at Big Lots for five dollars brand new. If you want high quality at rock bottom prices, ACS Discovery is the place to shop.
