Good place to grab a few drinks and relax. The bands that play there are good. Sometimes odd but hell for $ 5 cover fee not bad. They usually post events in their Facebook so check it out.

Nice, but a little dirty. If your looking for a cool little dive bar, this is it for sure.

This place is very dark. Which is AWESOME because I hate really brightly lit bars. It’s a rocker bar very cool atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced. The bartenders are all friendly. Also, I feel as if the bartenders are actually real people, not being fake to try and get tips. They also have a pool table and offer free pool on Monday. Along with having a good sized bar, there’s a lot of retro couches and chairs to sit on. Good for groups. Now, the best thing about Audie’s is they have a stage and have live shows a few nights a week. Sometimes there’s a small cover, usually between $ 5-$ 8 but I have seen some bigger band’s there for $ 12-$ 18. On the slower nights sometimes they’ll get a dj and there’s never a cover then.

Love the atmosphere of this place! Been to just about every bar in tower for who knows how long until I have this place a shot. Was not disappointed. The live music and the crowd is what really makes this place. Recommend dropping by if you’re ever in tower district trying to enjoy the night life.

A friend took me here on a visit I had to fresno. I’m not a big clubber and I’m reminded as to why(in certain places). This place was fairly big but it was pretty dead. On this evening they had«go go dancers» but they weren’t much of anything. They wore tutu’s and was just dancing with each other. The music as pretty cool but the vibe was pretty dead. I didn’t really care for the place but I did enjoy my friends company. In the end, that’s what matters.

Giving this place a shout-out since I had a pretty good time here recently. A friend was here to play an open mic, and it turned out to be a nice spot. It’s a very laid back bar with all sorts of people(a good thing), the drinks are reasonable and the manager was very friendly. The stage isn’t the largest in the world but you can definitely fit a band up there, and the audio set-up is better than you’d expect at a venue of this size. There are a lot of places to socialize(chairs, couches, tables, bar, dance floor) and this place seems to attract a lot of regulars. Oh, and the music did not suck.

Fun/funky bar & live music venue. Bartenders are friendly, drinks are reasonably priced, and music is good. Eclectic mix of seating choices(old couches, chairs, etc). Great for groups and couples.

I’ve been in Fresno for one day, and it’s already felt like an eternity. There’s just bar after bar of shear ordinary. That is, until I stumbled upon Club Fred, or Audie Olympic as it says on the store front. Club Fred is like a Motown social with pool, brews, tattooed patrons, and hula hoop dancing, YESHULAHOOPDANCING. Truly a sight to be seen. I didn’t know if it was coincidence, but there just happened to be a gaggle of hoops and a gang of drunken youth who are just AMAZING hula hoop dancers. I’ve only seen that stuff at Colorado music fests, but this shit was hypnotizing. Club Fred feels like a non-exclusive, yet exclusive club in Silver Lake with tons of room to breathe. Top notch service, price, patrons and music. Sounds like a 5 star bar to me. Bonus points for the shag carpet on the stage.

Oh Audies. Came here for the first time for Jazz Hop 2÷2÷12 I liked the walls. Their weekly specials weren’t bad either. On Tuesday there is Open Mic Night with $ 2 drafts. They don’t have many beers to choose from but there is quality! Audies has Lagunitas… One of my faves. It can get pretty pricey too :(So its nice to know now that I can get a draft of it for only $ 2 Bathrooms were clean. Small stage, cleared area to dance, nice lighting equip., didn’t care to much for the furniture or the layout but I guess now i’m just nagging. :) Its a 21+ establishment, i think. When I went there they checked I. D at the door. All in all I liked this place and would recommend it… If you like loud music.

I’m not from Fresno, but my sister is! She took my husband and myself here a few nights ago to see The Family Wagon, The Strange Vine, and The Stone Foxes. Based on that music line up alone — I love this place. According to my sister, they always have great music line ups. The building is a great set up. It’s super open, with just enough comfy seating(couches and such), tall boys, and plenty of places to sit at the bar. It gets dark but enough light to find your way around. The bathrooms are small but the girls restroom was clean. The bartenders are really nice. You can get a pitcher of Blue Moon for $ 14 and it’s about 6 glasses full. They have specials on cans once and again. A great place to hang out with friends, have a few drinks, and listen to great music!

i have to say im not a fan of the night scene but this is a great venue for all kinds of band, very small, and it seems they can’t decide on a name that will lasts for more than a year, i’ve been here three times and it has not disappointmented me so far.

It has been years since I have stepped into the Oly aka Club Fred aka Audie’s Olympic Tavern… It is just as delicious as I remember… great bands and decent prices and a very welcomed anything goes atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of the Tower District with ample samplings of new and local favorite musical offerings. Audie’s Olympic Tavern aka Club Fred’s is one of the only authentic punk underground venues alive in central California. If you find yourself in the area, it is worth a stop in. Say hello to my favorite bar keep Kevin(KJ) for me!

I think this is the best small venue in Fresno. The sound is good and the shag carpet is classic! I like that it’s dark and it truly feels like a rock bar.

I love this venue! Great sound, setting and people. The staff is all friendly and the drinks are always stiff and never overpriced even for topshelf. This is an awesome live music venue and a must see in the Tower… you will find it a hop skip and jump away from the«pack» of most places n the tower… just keep walking and you will eventually see the neon lights beckoning your attention. The people are always nice and I always have a good time. Tip the Bartender well!!!

I like to watch bands play here. Bar drinks are not too pricey… Typical. Only bummer is when there was a cover charge for a show and I was already in the bar, Ive been kicked out and made to stand in line to re-enter… That was odd. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. There are a couple couches as well as tables/chairs from which to enjoy the show, and a small area in front of stage for those who wish to dance. Cheers!

Also known as Audie’s Olympic, this nice bar is a little hard to find in the dark, but look for its awesome neon blue column trim to find your way. Big, roomy, reasonably priced. I loved the décor and the bartenders were agreeable. Great music venue as well.
