Bamboo Chopsticks

Today is February 6 2016 and we recently moved into the area from Clovis.
We would always buy from this Chinese place on Clovis and shaw,
We would make that drive just for the food.
UNTIL WE FOUND THIS PLACE,
Service wise (10)
Food taste (10+)
The owner is wonderful, and the waitresses are very kind and polite,
The food is always prepared very quick we never waited over like 5 minutes it feels like.
Food is always hot temperature wise .
We always ask for Extra crunchy noodles and we get just what we order love this place.

This was the first time I’ve been to Bamboo. I’ve been looking for a really good Chinese food restaurant and I have found it. The people were very nice and helpful. The portions are huge and above that the flavor of the food was very very flavorful. Honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. Now esthetically it’s not the nicest place but don’t let the looks deceive you.

Another disappointment on a local long time establishment. I was going here about 10 years ago, and the food was remarkable, with great taste, and gravies, and large portions. My uncle loved this place, and i asked his grandkids, and they acted like they didn’t know the spot. I know why now. I was in the area, and craving Chinese food. I stopped in, and there was a nice looking girl waiting tables, and running the register. I ask what was there best dish, and all she did was point at the specials. Big pet peeve of mine. but i ordered. and the food was presentable, but it lacked taste, and flavors. It was so disappointed in the flavor i wanted to act like Gordan Ramsey, and spit the food out. I ate as much as I could. i Paid and asked to us the restroom to freshen up, and it was discussing. There’s an old saying if the restroom is horrific, most likely the kitchen area is the same. and some people say the food is good because of the dirt, lol. But this is 2016 and its time for these restaurants to upgrade and remodel if they want to stay in business. I do not recommend this place it not what it use to be. Sad to see another great place go down the drain.

Probably my favorite place to go to when I want Chinese. I’ve been coming here for years. Very cheap and big portions. I just can’t find someone who has better orange chicken!

Best Chinese food place in the valley, vary cheap, you get a fat plate for only about 7 or 8 bucks, it almost feels like were ripping them offf lol best place ever

Started eating here 10 years ago when I was going to city college. Get orange or teriyaki chicken over noodles. Portions are big and the food is good.

I haven’t been to Chopsticks for about 8 years. On this day, I had a training at a school located near Chopsticks and had only about 45 minutes to eat so I did not want to go far for lunch. I stopped during lunch and walked in. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered their lunch combo special.
Again, the service was the waitress was good. However, the food was not. I finished as much as I could, and walked out. Maybe that’s why I haven’t been back for such a long time.

The food is great the staff is super nice and I must say this now… do not ever leave without trying their hot oil it is the best in town!

My favorite Chinese place! Its cheap and you get so much good food. I normally get the combination chow me in with no water chestnuts it’s a little over $ 7 and it’s enough noodles to feed at least two people.

For quick, affordable Chinese take-​out, this is the place to go. I got several combo plates and was able to feed 8 people for $ 30. The food was tasty and came hot off the wok. Also, the woman at the front counter was helpful and friendly and was easy to understand. (Sometimes I have a hard time understanding people at food places because some have strong accents.)
Now that I live in this part of Fresno I will definitely be returning to this place.

So I have driven by this restaurant about a billion times while attending FCC, and today is the day i try it.
Upon entering I was immediately greeted with a warm smile and sincerity (loved it). I had read several reviews on the food, but wanted the waitress’s opinion on what to eat. She advised me to get either the Orange Chicken or Chop suey Shrimp over noodles. The Magnolian Beef looked really good too but ultimately I went with the Shrimp plate.
No joke, within 5 minutes I had my plate in front of me; scalding HOT! Literally out of the Wok. I had to wait a couple of minutes for it to shimmer down. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food. Vegetables have to be thoroughly, especially broccoli. This restaurant met my taste buds expectations! Noodles were delicious, plenty of shrimp, water chestnuts, onion and broccoli. If your an L7 weenie like me be cautious with the «Hot Oil» it’s like eating magma (Dr. Evil Voice, lol)!
Overall very pleasant experience, great customers service and will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

Been eating here for years. Good food at great prices. Love that they know us and remember our order. Love their vegetarian options and their take out specials.

I recently fell in love with Chinese food after trying their Teriyaki Chicken over white rice. I’m craving some right now! Costumer service is ALWAYS good. The girl at the front is really polite.

Love their food! The order is always correct and consistent. They get the food ready for us pretty fast and it is reasonably priced.

I used to eat here all the time. USED to. I’m not sure what has happened since then but on my last few trips there, I’ve found the food to be bland and greasy instead of the old stuff I was familiar with. They even started to water down the soda. If you are starving and dying in front of bamboo chopsticks, you might want to eat here. If not, tower is based few blocks from here so you might as well crawl to get a more comfortable seat and a better meal.

I been eating here for years and the food is always good. Alot of food for a very good price and the owners plus the waitress are very friendly. My favorite is Mongolian beef with pan fried noodles and the BBQ ribs definitely the best I had at a chinese restaurant.

I love this place!!! Thai garlic chicken is thee BOMB!!! Orange chicken is the best too!!! Service is also always fast!!!

The food here is really just plain, no flavor, quality isnt all that great either. There service is friendly though. The building itself needs to be revitalized and look alive. The rest rooms are outside and dirty looking. I wouldn’t recommend this place to eat. And plus I seen cockroaches crawling in and out the building, I can only imagine what the food preparation looks like.

Best Chinese food in town. Fried shrimp and broccoli beef. So good. Free soup if you eat there. Huge portions and inexpensive.

We ordered pork chop suey chow mein, Chicken fried rice, fried won ton, BBQ pork $ 30 we fed 5 adults and 2 children. Food was good. the vegetable’s were crisp and that tells me they cook with fresh veggies. Good food great price. we ordered take out… Very fast service
