This is my place to come to get my Lahmajoun. They make it fresh every day, regular or spicy. Pop in in the microwave for about 30 sec. or place in in the oven to warm, I like a light squeeze of lemon on it after it warms. The owner is very nice.

Rita is a breath of fresh air! I just love this lady! She makes the best of everything here she also has the best can of grape leaves. I highly recommend this deli for all your Armenian food.

In my favorite bit of irony, I stop here after a trip to the dentist and buy a dozen sweets. I think they’re paklava, the Armenian version of baklava, but they aren’t drenched in honey. Just do as I do — look at the front counter where they’re stacked in containers to-go, point and say«I want one of those». I’ve also tried the boureg, which is delicious, but I’m a sweet-tooth kind of gal. There’s a small selection of grocery store goods. Do yourself a favor and pick up a container of labnah, which tastes like yogurt but has the consistency of cream cheese. Spread it on toast with jam and you’re in heaven. The lady behind the counter is sweet as can be(and what gorgeous eyes!). Don’t be afraid because you don’t know what’s what — just GO!

Rita is my Armenian fairy godmother! My father and I stumbled upon her shop while looking for a gas station and left with one of everything. Her Lahmajoon is the BEST(don’t tell my nana). Her lavash and gata are ridiculous as well. I went back for more. It turns out, she knows my mothers’ cousin, so she was an instant family member! If you are looking for amazing pastries, Armenian delicacies or just need a fix, RUN to Rita. I promise you– she will not disappoint.
