I love the chicken sandwiches here. I wish they were not in the mall, because I hate having to park and deal with everyone at the mall just to get a sandwich. They’re really quick here, and I’ve never had a bad experience. I also like that you can do the little receipt survey and get fries and a drink with your sandwich on your next visit.

Charley’s is always fast and delicious. I wish they had a bigger veggie sandwich option but the one that have with cheese and bell peppers is good, just a bit plain. Workers are always so nice and if you do the survey on the back and get the code you can get a free fry and drink with a sandwich.

Amazingly delicious fat slam delights. Ordered the Philly steak, extra meat and veggies. Amazingly good and hit that high calorie spot that simply must be scratched several times a year. Get a small and double the meat for a gloppy taste sensation. Will eat salads for weeks to counteract. Love that they feed you samples while waiting in line. Noisy, busy mall environment worth the taste! –G

Had a Philly cheesesteak, wasn’t terrible, definitely wasn’t what I would consider«good». Meat was dry and there wasn’t a lot of it. Not sure what technically goes on a philly, but the lettuce/tomato did not go well. For the price I wouldn’t eat there again($ 8 for a «medium» seemed small to me sandwich)

Only one experience here, but another is doubly doubtful. The cashier & servers were quite friendly & efficient(as need be in a Food Court setting). I was frankly appalled, however, when the server asked if I wanted«lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise»…(My reply: «On a Cheesesteak?»). This should have been the key clue to trigger a walkaway, but I stumbled on, Jones-ing for a good cheesesteak and asked them to also hold the ‘shrooms. Service was prompt. The bun was soft; the meat was lean, tender and not greasy(which by itself is considered somewhat of a flaw among cheesesteak aficionados), but dry and the flavor reminded me of a Cream song(«Pressed Rat & Warthog» — GREAT drum solo, BTW); the cheese was melty, but bland and suggested bleached Velveeta(minus flavor). The fries were actually quite good, by themselves. But selecting the«Deluxe» option was a huge mistake; the Janitor-in-a-Drum yellow goop«cheese product» with sprinkles of chemically-smoked bacon ruined the otherwise crispy and fresh-tasting fries. The personnel are fine and pleasant, and I can’t speak to the rest of the menu, but Charley’s needs a better product if they want to call it a Cheesesteak. The Cheesesteak Shops(SF Bay Area) have a waa-aay better and more authentic product(thin-sliced rib-eye with real cheese and sweet & hot peppers on a soft sweet roll PERIOD — mushrooms optional). FYI, I developed my cheesesteak addiction while living 2.5 years in Philthydelphia and Lancaster, so I believe this qualifies my opinion.

This is the best mall food ever! Every time I come here I leave one satisfied customer! I’ve been coming here for years! Every time I see a Charley’s I must make it my meal of choice! Their buffalo chicken is the best!

It was alright. That’s all I will say. Just very disappointed in FF’s selection at their food court.

I stumbled upon this place by mistake. I usually don’t eat in the mall but was hungry. So a sandwich sounded good and you know what? It was good. Friendly service, well priced and good food. It’s what I want mall food to be!

Great steak sandwiches, I order the deluxe minus green pepper add jalapeño. The fries are also cook well crispy outside soft inside. Only draw back are the counter staff. They are extremely rude & act like its hard to take your order. We order here twice a week or so, but if they were nicer we would eat here more.

Charley’s has good philly cheesesteak sandwich. I usually get the cheesesteak and fries or the cheesesteak deluxe and fries. Sometimes I get the chicken sandwich. I go here whenever in Fashion Fair Mall. The fries are ultra hot in temperature. Very loud atmosphere and sometimes hard to find a table.

You know what’s great? Samples. You go to Trader Joe’s and off in the back someone with an apron has a hot plate and they’re making tiny portions of something. It’s like appetizers for shopping. Lots of grocery stores used to do this, but I see it less and less. Heck, I remember that it was your right as a kid to have a free cookie when Mom did her weekly shopping at Lucky’s or Alpha Beta. They don’t really have a whole lot of free samples at the Mall. Unless you count cologne or perfume(and I don’t). Even the Hickory Farms at Fashion Fair wasn’t passing out little heated nibblets of summer sausage.(And if it’s called summer sausage, why does Hickory Farms pitch it as the perfect Christmas gift?) Anyway, I wandered through the food court and some guy thrusts out a plate of little sandwich bits speared with toothpicks. The sample chicken sub was mighty tasty. I think that might have been because it was some sandwich idea he was working on that involved chicken, ranch dressing, cheese, and something else with a lot of fat. I decided to have a chicken club sandwich and continued the happy feeling through lunch. I have to admit, I’m concerned about the«gourmet» fries. You can get them with cheese, with bacon, with ranch, or with all three. Cheesy, bacon, ranch fries?! You’d be lucky to waddle back to your car without having a coronary. I’ll pass.
