Claws And Paws Grooming

Took my Yeezy there he turned out great! I REALLY like this place they are of course animal friendly and they don’t seem like there just doing the job for a paycheck… they also do dog dying which is fun and all food based so totally safe for the doggy!
Quick and friendly service… they do de-​tick and flea for a small fee but try to get every last pest!

Thank you Sheri and all of your wonderful staff. Cerious looks wonderful after his Lion cut and he is happier without all of his hair. I love the fact that you know my cat so well and all of his bad habits too. Your always so patient with him and gentle. Lady and Gizmo are just as happy, but these dogs always are. You will always have a faithful client. I am always very pleased with your services and your prices are great for my lot.

Love their service, speed and price. Very friendly since the first day & they remembered my dog when we arrived the 2^nd time.
I drive across town for their services, even thou there are several near our home. Highly recommended.

I tried claws and paws for the first time today. My German short hair pointer is 11 years old and gets nervous around new people. They were loving and kind to her. Her grooming and clipping of nails were great. I will definitely be back!

UPDATE: I have been meaning to write an update to my previous review but kept forgetting but feel like I should so here it goes. Since writing my review the owner of the salon personally called to apologize for my inconvenience. Not only that but the groomer herself sent a handwritten apology note in the mail. She apologized and offered a free grooming. I greatly appreciated this nice touch and will take them up on their offer and give them another try. Their attempt to make things right tells me that they really do care about their customers happiness!

I regularly took my dog to Sheri, and she always did a wonderful job. Previously I had tried several other places, and was never happy. The prices here are very fair, grooming is done in a timely manner, my dog never liked getting groomed but he seemed to always walk in happy and come out happy. Sadly, I no longer have my dog, but in the future when I have a nother dog, I will be back to Sheri, and I always recommend this place to my family and friends.

I have a high strung Mcnab, and they always do a fantastic job on her. I would not take my dog to any other groomer in town. She comes back clean and brushed out beautifully.

AVOID PAWS AND CLAWS…
AT ALL COST! I took my Labradoodle in and a list of DO’S AND DO NOT! My list was ignored and I brought home a striped poodle looking Labradoodle. I own a $ 3000 dog that it will take me 6 months to re-​grow her beautiful coat. I called and complained they offered a discount on a return grooming… which is better than nothing… but I choice NOTHING!!! I am not going back!!!

I should’ve done this sooner.
I found them via Groupon and was pleased that they offered a big discount for rescued/​adopted animals to get their first grooming. Considering that my yorki/​terrier mix was a mess when we got her they really did do a decent job.
So, I started taking her to them regularly. It was after I took Lily to her vet that I learned what a proper grooming should look like and found that they were actually not doing a good job at all.
My vet showed me areas that were being missed and places that were growing wrong because they were cut wrong. He suggested I find a new groomer immediately.
The decision was fairly easy since every time I picked up Lily they were complaining about how she was nipping at them. They basically acted like I should be grateful they were still grooming her. So, not really being well versed in groomers, I accepted that.
Since my vet’s warning I have found a new groomer, Dogz ‘n Catz are much better. They are doing a better job and they have never yet complained once about the attitude of my dog. I would suggest avoiding Claws & Paws and going somewhere else.

We have taken our German Shepard/​Pit mix twice now and the staff is very friendly. The price is reasonable and they are much quicker then some of the pet stores.

I have a small dog and they charged an extra $ 10 on top of the groupon for a wash and trim!!! $ 40! They should’ve squeezed his anal glands for that price! Worst of all there were many spots they missed while trimming but they still managed to cut all of my old little dogs moles!!! Which we warned them about! He was bleeding a lot when he was picked up! That never should have happened… That means they not only didnt listen but never even pet my dog or felt his body or even looked at him closely before shaving away… The bumps are quite noticeable and they were obviously careless because after cutting him once and seeing him bleed they should have been a lot more careful. Incompetence at its zenith!

Watch out for the Groupon deal. I used the $ 30 Groupon. I called ahead and told them I had the Groupon and what kind of dog I had (a big dog). The lady on the phone told me it would be a «little bit extra»…since he was big.
I dropped him off… they called a few hours later and told me he was done. They seemed to had done a great job with the wash, trim, and clip. My dog was clean and happy.
The total came out to $ 55. I was a bit shocked since the lady said it would only be a little more. I sort of argued with her, but she said that is the price. I would have guessed «little bit extra» meant $ 5– $ 15…not $ 25 extra!!!
Just check on the price when you call. I felt sort of slighted.
