It’s been hard for me to leave a review for this property, but I will, do to my personal experience praying it will help some way. When my family and I moved in, we were excited at first. We signed a lease that it was a drug and crime free community. We believed that the property cared for their residents. Little did we know, it wasn’t a good place. Two days later we already wanted to move, but stuck to our lease and hoping that the management would stick to what was stated on their lease that I’m sure all residents signed. #1 Throughout the complex it smelled like weed all hours through the day. Couldn’t really leave our windows open cause the smell made my children and I sick. My little ones would always ask questions. I did talk to and complained to management. #2 We are allowed to have pets. There is of course pet deposit, but also monthly pet rent. :/Some residents have their pets just roaming outside free and unsupervised leaving poop and the smell of urine. My children would always step in the poop and bring it inside. Also, some residents were not being responsible for their pets while walking them and didn’t pick up their poop. #3 Living there, I was having a problem with my patio with urine dripping down/through from upstairs balcony and their dog. For many months I complained and tried to get it fixed and still nothing was done. It was/is a huge health hazard. When I talked to management about these issues, she was very rude and unprofessional. She told me that I could always move if I didn’t like it here and that they didn’t want me here if I wasn’t happy. She also told me that we were more likely to get evicted because our rent was late(only 1 income from work every 2 weeks), than those residents who party, do drugs, drink, and inconsiderate/nuisance around them. I started to feel as if she retaliated against my family and I especially if we had anything to talk to her about. She would interrupt me when I would speak and than just made it hard to even speak to her about anything. Maintenance never came to fix or talked to us about our health issue problem with the patio. These things I brought to management had to deal with the health of my children and I felt no one cared. She never communicated with us to let us have an update to whether things were going to get fixed or not. Also, not one pizza place will deliver here because they said it was a bad place. This area is far from walking distance stores besides Walgreens. They also make you pay for a parking stall, renters insurance that covers them-not you, your own water, sewer, and trash, monthly. They want rent on the first and will NOT except late rent, during the same month of course, or they will proceed to evict you. The laundry facilities here, the machines, are crappy, some broken and just a place for teens to party and children to play. This place has potential if it was under BETTER management who was more aware of the negative things going on, fixed the property damage reported, fixed things or allowed things to be fixed in a TIMELY manner, communicated better with residents, cared about their residents, had some consideration of what was on their lease and stuck to it and fixed the problems stated on it, and showed professionalism. For all the money residents pay here(rent, renters insurance, pet rent, parking, water, sewer, and trash), You could find a better place for your buck and who cared about your family as a paying customer, especially during these hard times, financially.
