I will give this place three stars only because of a few people who work there that think it’s a there way or the highway attitude. Now the pastry is a 5 Star I would eat this stuff 7 days a week if I could. But I would have a bigger belly than I already do so I don’t. Actually I only go there now if someone else goes there for me. Just so I don’t have to deal with the above. The Peet’s coffee stand should be closed down for lack of a real Barista. I have also ordered deserts here from time to time. My experience with that has not been great miss-spelled items on top of cakes on more than 1 occasions. Stick that(Did you get a number) machine up in your dumpster And leave it there I don’t want a number I’m the only person standing here!!!

I’ve tried several of their goods — macarons, cheesecakes, tiramusu and different types of breads. I would rate their goods 3 to 3.5 stars in general. However, their variety pushes them to a four. It seems like they always have plenty of options. I’ve been to bakeries where if you come towards the end of the day, you feel like you’re just sorting through left overs. Here, it still feels like you’ve got choices even 5 minutes before closing. They are easy to find(located in a stand alone building in a busy shopping center off Herndon and Cedar). Close parking can sometimes be a problem although… they’re in a big lot so there’s always parking but you may just have to walk a little further. Customer service is solid — if they’re not busy, you’re greeted and served immediately. If they’re busy, you take a number. From my experience though, even if there’s a few people in front of you, they have quick service so you don’t have to wait long. Pricing is a bit on the high side for some options — for example, a round cake will run you about $ 34 and a slice is $ 3.50(the slices are not large). However, if you like your breads, order them on Sundays — they’re half off b/c they don’t bake on Sundays. Overall, this place is close by, they have a variety of selections and are consistent with their quality. I’ll be back whenever I need a sugar fix. ;)

I went in to order a cake for my sister’s birthday. Her 50th birthday happened to fall on New Years Eve. I was hoping to get a little bit of wow for the $ 72 they charged me for a cake to feed 15 – 20 people. While speaking to the employee I know I specified that the colors being used for the party were black and gold. When I picked up the cake it was a boring white cake with a black bow. I could have gone to Von’s or Save Mart and gotten the same cake for $ 20. Lesson learned… won’t ever be going back to Eddie’s Bakery.

Let me say first that I really don’t eat enjoy eating cake. I find it either to sweet or bland in taste. I probably eat cake once a year at most. My Aunt ordered their chocolate dream cake for my cousins 42nd birthday. It was the best tasting cake I have ever had. I had two slices and wish I there was more. If your looking for cheap cake go to Save Mart or Winco. This is a gourmet bakery which commands higher prices. Worth every penny!

Ordered the Reuben with fries and my partner ordered the California Chicken club. The Reuben was delicious, could have used a slight bit of more russian dressing, however, really good. And the other was satisfied as well. They serve Peets Coffee, and the interior reminds me of an actual Italian café. There customer service is okay but it could use some work. I will be coming back.

Their lunch sandwich size is way too small for the price. Had to wait long for takeout considering there were no people ahead of me. Their bread and pastries were good.

I came here yesterday for breakfast. I’ve been coming for years and I love the place! Eddies is one of the few places I’ve been where the customer service is always amazing every time I go. They always have a smile on their faces and they check up on you! Today I ordered the apple turnover, cinnamon roll and a cup of tea. As usual the pastries are amazing! Whenever I am in the area I will be returning!

I ordered our wedding cake through Eddie’s and it was perfect! All of my guests loved it. They were also very professional, followed up on details, and delivered without any issues at all. I would definitely recommend ordering through them.

Wow!!! Delicious cake and awesome decorating!!! Eddie’s bakery is so creative! I told them I wanted 49ers on it and this is what they came up with. They are so unique and creative! I’ve ordered 5 cakes from here now and have not been disappointed once! Keep up the good work!!!

I came to get a cake for my grandpas birthday, there wasn’t a line so I didn’t feel the need to grab a ticket. The workers wouldn’t even look at me the just kept continue doing what they were doing, I could understand if they were busy but they weren’t! Usually people say just a minute and I’ll be with you or something similar to that but they didn’t say a word. I waited a few minutes and still nothing so I left, won’t be coming back.

I live on the opposite side of town, so I don’t get to come here often — but I did today and it was fabulous. My husband and I stopped in for a coffee and pastry this morning. As we paid the cashier informed us that the drip coffee he wanted was being brewed and would take a few minutes. We sat down to enjoy our goodies and as they hand delivered my latte to me they proceeded to take my husbands cup and offered to go and fill it up while it was still being brewed so he wouldn’t have to wait! Then another employee came over to make sure things were good and that we didn’t need anything else. Sadly I am not used to this type of friendly, attentive customer service everywhere. So I kindly went and asked for a manager to inform them that the staff was beyond wonderful and that I would for sure be back — even though it is literally across town from me. …you know what happened then? They kindly sent over some macarons for my positive feedback! What? Thats just beyond amazing. Throw in the fact that their bakery is fabulous and you have one happy patron who will for sure be returning soon!

This morning I stopped for a cup of coffee and pastry. My coffee was too strong for me so I asked for a to go cup with ice. The manager came over and was very nasty that I asked for a to go cup. She gave me the smallest cup with the biggest attitude. Going to Eddies is never an inexpensive treat but I like their food and bakery. Too bad the employees aren’t happy.

Well, I have to say that I am done with any cakes at Eddies. Ordered the Chocolate Dream Cake… boring! «Three layers of chocolate chiffon cake iced and filled with a generous amount of whip cream and topped with chocolate savings»…is what the description says. The«chiffon» cake was more like a sponge cake, very light and airy with no real flavor. Too much whipped cream… they were right about the«generous» statement. Next time… Chiffonos Bakery.

WOW, just got off the phone with Joanna and she was as pleaseant and helpful as any great customer service can be. I have a date tonight and asked her for her suggestion she suggested a variety of desserts and we both choose two. Keep up the good work Joanna!

Asked for a giant cupcake on Thursday and picked it up on Friday! They did a great job. It was a cute addition for our wedding. Smooth. No hiccups.

Really? A day before Memorial Day and you’re closed? Seriously, it’s not a national observed holiday and yet, while you try to maintain customer loyalty, your employees fail to pass this information onto those loyal customers. Especially when these customers place an order that was to be picked up on your«non-observed» day. And, to make it even worse, your employees have the audacity to explain to the customers, on the same«non-observed» day of pick up, that your business sold your order to someone else, the day before. I suppose, if your company is deciding to be closed the day before an actual observed holiday, your employees should make a special commitment in communicating this information to your customers. Especially when these customers are expected to pick up their orders on the«non-observed» days that you decide to be closed.

So I’ll start with the good. They have good cookies and fruit tarts that I’ve taken to work because it’s across the street from the hospital. The bad, I went in excited to place an order for one of their custom cakes! Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. The one helping me was rude and in a rush. I showed pictures of the idea I wanted and basically she said this what we have and this is how were gonna do it. I essentially wanted an enlarged cupcake. The picture I was shown was very boring and I tried to customize it and she said no this is how we do it. I asked for straighter lines the the photo shown she said it depends on the person designing the cake that day. How rude. I was limited to a certain flavors of the cake. I asked her to repeat the list of flavors and she said it really fast. I apologized for taking so long on deciding. But I guess paying for a cake isn’t enough for the one taking my order to wait for me to decide what I want in it. I could feel other customers staring at us. It was not a very enjoyable experience. Basically I placed the order because I’m not really from around here and didn’t know where else to go. I wasn’t satisfied with the cake and I haven’t even seen it in person yet. Luckily my coworkers suggested another place and I was able to cancel my eddies order. This other cake shoppe I went to made suggestions on what design looks good, she was patient, and she gave me over 20 flavors to choose from and all for the same price eddies was charging. Overall I’ll never come back to eddies. I just felt unhappy with their service.

I’ve always been a cupcake girl so I tend to go to cupcakeries for events, but I think Eddie’s is winning me over. My family celebrates every month with a cake from Eddie’s and they are very good! Yesterday I was in town and offered to purchase the cake. Location: Prominently placed off Cedar by Herndon and easily accessible. Plenty of parking and easy to spot. Interior: Clean and spacious. Not too many tables, but most people tend to take their cakes and pastries to go anyway. Selection: Plenty! Lots of pretty pastries and large selection. They also sell macarons and individual slices of delicious cakes. Obviously, you want to place an order in advance to get exactly what you want — otherwise you’ll have to settle from the display selection(which are great, but won’t be perfectly in sync with your theme). I ordered the raspberry and chocolate Mousse cake and had them write a little message. It was heavenly!!! Cost: This isn’t a local grocer’s bakery, so expect to pay a little more. The 8 inch round took me back $ 34, but I’m willing to shell out for good cake! Can’t wait to place another order in a couple months!!!
