My family and I are music newbies – I mean, we can listen and appreciate, but we have never imagined that we could play an instrument. When an opportunity came along to learn, we were excited and decided to go all out and what-​the-​heck, invest in a starter piano. And of course, we had to start with the people who actually know their stuff.
Walking into the store was jaw-​dropping. Beautiful pianos all lined up. Nick was very helpful, describing the different types and not pushy at all. Mind you, we had a 7-​year old with us jumping up and down and wanting to touch everything. I was cringing and worried that Nick and Jim would reprimand her; but they did the exact opposite. They smiled and appreciated her excitement and seemed excited along with her for getting her 1^st piano.
Good quality pianos do not come cheap. I had a lot of concerns financially, but Nick and Ted were willing to hear me out and make it possible to own a well-​loved spinet – which was surprisingly within my budget. I was still not sure on so I said I would think about it and maybe come back next week. I felt no pressure at all. Even at this point where they were not sure of making the sale, they were really nice and continued to provide a lot of education on learning and owning a piano.
2 hours after closing time, my husband and I decided to go ahead and buy the piano. Nick answered our call after hours (with me apologizing profusely for such a late call, and him not minding at all) and reserved it for us and we went ahead with the purchase the next day.
Jim was excellent on the day of purchase; answered all our questions patiently and gave a lot of recommendations. You can truly see that he is passionate about pianos – not as a business, but the actual instrument and music. He really knows his stuff! He gave my family and I a lot of pointers that I know we will be using while learning the piano.
The store also offers a buy-​back guarantee for 10 years. They are THAT confident in the state of the pianos they sell at this time to want them back. I was very impressed with that. Our piano teacher came out the same day to take a look and she was very impressed with the quality, sound, and price!
Piano delivery was no hassle at all. They were prompt, gave me a call to let me know when they were coming (we were already given a 2-​hour window upon purchase), respectful of our home and family, and set the piano up perfectly!
We will definitely be back to upgrade! Hopefully sooner than later.

I went in on Wednesday last to get a piano for my son. I’ve been shopping around since we’re new to the area and this has so far been the best place. Nick the salesman was pleasant and knowledgeable and I didn’t feel like he was throwing musical jargon at me to impress me. I’m definitely going back and recommending to friends!

I went to Fresno piano gallery to check out their new location today and see what kind of selections they have. I was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of pianos that they carry. There’s no where else in Fresno to compare their piano selection to. Although I was just browsing, I did notice that the staff was very knowledgeable about the pianos they carry. The staff also showed me that they have player pianos that can play a variety of music from selected radio stations.
Overall I would definitely purchase my next piano here. The service is spot on and the prices seemed reasonable for brands like Yamaha and Steinway.

We were out looking around for an upright piano for our home and found this gallery near Costco at River Park. Great business to deal with! The floor workers are very knowledgeable and helpful. Their room in the back is set up for concert performances using a big screen TV where a performer thousand miles away could be playing on the player piano in the room. They have so many new piano’s that have technology that floored us. They have a piano that will light up the keys to help you learn to play! For anyone who likes music this is the «go to place»!

Bought a piano at Fresno Piano Gallery. When the piano was delivered I jumped up on the truck to be sure it was the right piano and that there was no damage to it when loaded. Found that the lower left corner of the piano was broken and just hanging. I told the delivery guy not to unload, and that I needed to contact Jim the owner about the new damage. I talked to Nick, salesman, while he was understanding the owner Jim (I think was his name) said the damage was already there in the showroom. I told him it was not, even if it was and they knew about it why was that kind of serious damage not pointed out? Used piano or not I found out later it was over priced by 40%. I am a novice, but was trusting and that was a mistake. A check was cut for me but the experience was not good with Fresno Piano Gallery.
Well, the company is in denial about the damage. It most certainly was broken and hanging in the lower left rear corner. Jim is not telling the truth here. Yes, I agree there were many blemishes and wear and tear on the piano, however, I thought this normal until I looked at many other pianos on C.L. and in the paper, and found comparing apples to apples his used and damaged piano was 40% over priced.
The trade in value of anything, is nothing, if it is over priced.
There is a huge number of used and in far better condition pianos out there on the market right now.
Oh, Jim says he apologized, not true. He did call only to let me know that somehow I made a big deal out of a damaged piano. I was the one who spent a total of 1600.00 for a previously undamaged piano. Go see the thing for yourself.
Jim, further states it was not damaged and again he is lying. See the piano and its condition. If the repair was done it was done when they brought it back to his shop.
He makes lots of claims about other peoples pianos that they are selling like, no free delivery, all in bad repair, and so on… I guess he is the only one with the goods or so he thinks because bargaining is part of the deal. People love their pianos and do take good care of them for the most part. Lying is bad for business Jim.
