On Unilocal,it says this was the Hmong Food Express. Stood right outside and it says«Lucky 7 Chinese Food». Um. okay? Looked inside and it looked very questionable. My boy and I ended up saving ourselves by scooting about 1 mile down the street to the grocery store instead.

The lady that works there was super sweet! Cheap and you receive big portions! Food was ok. They used to sell these big meat balls that were extremely YUMMY! But they just all of sudden stopped! So angry!

My parents were the original owners of this wonderful establishment :-) Its a great place to grab yummy hmong food. My parents has since moved to the East Coast so when I miss my moms cooking I run over to this place to get some food. Go try out the food and support small business

This place is great. Good service and tasty food. No other Hmong food place is as good unless your mom is Hmong. I’m sure to stop by whenever I am in the area.

WELOVETHISPLACE! The bf & i always stop by to grab some food whenever we are in town, or passing thru the town LOL! He’s hmong, so living with chinese makes him go krazy for hmong food! The lady is super nice and friendly! She gave us free drinks, cuz we came from SAC.hehe. Dont be turned off by the place, it looks tacky and really weird. but hey, enjoy the hmong food!

This will probably be the best Hmong food you will ever eat. And you know what, it may also be the worst because to be honest, not everyone likes it enough to eat it again or even ever eat it at all. No, really. Because the likelihood of you having ever eaten Hmong food or ever eating Hmong food again is slim to none unless you know about this small Asian minority. Now if you do know some Hmong people, then I recommend asking your friends’ parents to cook you up something, because that will be the best Hmong food you’ll ever have. The runner-up is to wait for a Hmong New Year festival and get some of their food there. Those options not available? Then head to Hmong Express and grab some purple rice, sausage and meatballs. And don’t forget the papaya salad! The meatballs and sausage are nice and greasy. Each family generally has its own recipe for its chile sauce and sausage and I would say that the owners here probably buy some common pre-packed sausage and don’t necessarily make it all by hand like a lot of the new year carts but it’s still better than not having Hmong food(unless you don’t like it). With the purple sticky rice, it’s got that spicy, salty goodness I’ve come to expect from my heart-clogging Hmong BBQ. They also have typical Chinese style takeout but I recommend you just go for the rice, sausage and meatball because that’s what is distinctly Hmong about their food. Their papaya salad is okay but there are definitely other restaurants that offer better. My last request is that if you hit up this shop, eat w/your hands. It’s more authentic! ;-) Cheers!
