I had to leave another review because this is my go to place for awesome food that is delicious, fresh and easy on the wallet! I usually get the chicken kabob wrap(which is humongous for $ 5) but my most recent trip I tried the new spicy chicken sandwich which also has rice pilaf and roasted veggies and it just takes it to another level! I’ll definitely be adding this sandwich into the rotation. The service is always great, and the food is amazing. Definitely check this place out!

Best food of any kind in Fresno. Super cheap and huge portions. Everything here tastes amazing. Garlic sauce is the best here. Great service and the workers are awesome. We eat here at least once a week.

Hye Kabobs and Catering makes the best Armenian food in Fresno! We come here all the time to eat and we always finish our food with a full stomach and a smile on our face! Portion Size: Big Price: Affordable and worth every penny Quality: Very fresh and super delicious Customer Service: The best! It is a family owned business and they are all so sweet and welcoming Tip: Call ahead and make your order so that you can pick it up once you arrive. It is homemade Armenian food and made with fresh ingredients. The garlic sauce melts in your mouth. You won’t regret it!

I have been going to hye Kebobs now for over 3 years and have yet to be disappointed. Consistency is huge for me in my food choices and they are always providing consistent quality food. Armen, Sevag, and the mom are great people and have such a positive attitude. They care greatly about their service and are always professional. My go to choice is the chicken sandwich. You can’t find better prices around town for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, A+ to hye Kebob, best around town, no question about it.

I wanted to give this restaurant 4 stars but the food… what a let down. The restaurant is a bit hard to find no sign just barley on the window. The people there were very very nice to me calling me sweetie and it just felt very nice although the atmosphere is zero its a white run down building but they were very welcoming. I ordered my food through the phone and by the way they sounded it honestly sounded like they did not care for my business at all but I went in 20 minutes anyways and got my food. Although the beef, rice, and vegetables were good the hummus was almost impossible to eat it was so bitter and the bread that comes with it!!! Just pathetic most plain and the most non-flavorful thing in the world. Big let down I would come back if the hummus and bread were good, what a shame!

All I can say is WOW. Found this place on here and decided to try it out and the reviews don’t lie. This is an awesome spot the people who work there are so awesome and nice since it would take 20mins he gave us extra pita bread and sauce. The chicken so good love the charred flavor and the veggies and pilaf are the best. Hummus was super good and flavorful. Definitely not my last time, new favorite place!!!

This is purely based on their catering. I had the choice to pick a place for Mediterranean food and I chose this place for about 20 people. My secretary picked up the food and stated they were very pleasant to deal with. I did wish she checked it before accepting it though. The grilled chicken was tasty but very burnt and about 20% was not edible. Rice was overcooked and mushy. Everything else was great such as hummus, bread, salad and amazing roasted veg tray. I can see why individual orders may appear much better but I’m disappointed in their catering. They should have better quality control. My usual places to order such as Mediterranean grill, Diana’s and Ararat does better with catering. I may give them another shot at another event but I’m undecided

After living around the corner from this place for 11 years and always smelling the food I decided to try it and WOW!!! Absolutely love the chicken kabobs and rice pilaf! The FAMILY that runs it are the nicest people and the momma is such a sweetheart! Oh don’t forget about the baklava! Anytime I have people over and we get hungry I automatically want them to try it and they’ve all loved it.

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try Hye Kebobs as it is close to my home of nearly 20 years. Looked at the yummy pictures posted on Unilocal which lead me to do the same. Ordered the chicken/shish combo with a side Greek salad. The combo was enough to share with my hubby and there was enough leftover for another meal the next day. The salad was also huge, again enough for two servings. The meats were very flavorful as were the smokey grilled vegetables. I like the Broilers, but this is much better.

My first, but definitely will not be the last. All I have to type is I literally found my new go to! My husband is really easy to get food for but for him to try new places I got him to agree to try this place !! Sadly, to most it’s an acquired taste and he was not having it. Oh well! The shish combo bowl that I got him is now mine. I got him to try something new and different which is amazing. Just got my wires/bands tighten so I literally ate every last bite cringing with pain but savoring every bite. So darn delicious! I almost cried with tears of joy from the satisfactory of complimenting flavors and tears from my braces hurting. Let’s start off with my chicken big combo plate which included: big juicy pieces of chicken, rice, hummus! garlic sauce, pita, and grilled veggies. I love the charred chicken taste! If I cooked this on my own it would just be burnt but the char to the chicken added a taste to it that I didn’t want to toss it. Something about flame grilled but not to the point where the chicken loses its tender juiciness. I didn’t care much for the veggies but omg I almost devoured everything else. If you can, GARLIC sauce everything!!! The sauce is so creamy and the hummus! I’m so sad I ate everything with little to no leftovers. I wish I purchased more garlic sauce. Next time definitely. Shish bowl combo: beef, rice, sides of pita and garlic sauce. Shish was cooked well. Your choice to have it med, med rare, med well. You’re choosing your liking. I have to eat everything jerky status. Chicken and shish were well seasoned. Highly recommend! I’m glad my husband didn’t eat his more for me

This is my favorite place to eat. Known the family for years and they haven’t lost their touch. I love the chicken kebab and garlic sauce. The grilled veggies are pretty amazing too. Generous portion sizes. They cook to order, so plan ahead if you’re in a rush. Limited seating, but people who know this place take-out. Great prices for the portions. You can’t go wrong with this place. I only wish they were open later, but they are a family run restaurant and have to have a life too.

The best inexpensive Mediterranean food in Fresno. The chicken sandwich is delicious and only $ 5. It is chicken kabob, lettuce, tomato and garlic sauce wrapped in a pita. The chicken is tender and juicy and the garlic sauce is like crack. I’ve also ordered from the catering menu and everything was amazing. The grilled veggies cannot be beat and the pilaf is almost as good as homemade(which is hard to get at a restaurant in my opinion). You won’t be disappointed!

I don’t ever give reviews but I felt I had to after my last meal. My oh my they do a great job here. The shish and chicken kabob dinner is probably the best I’ve had anywhere. And yes I’ve tried them all. The grilled vegetables and pilaf are outstanding. The family that runs the place, are very sweet people. Take out only, call ahead as they make everything fresh. I waited 20 minutes. Well worth the wait. This was my 4th time eating Hye Deli and it has been very consistent. Very inexpensive… $ 10 for the the shish kabob dinner and enough food for two people. I only wish I could give more stars.

Great food with large portions. I had the chicken kabob plate with rice, veggies, humus, pita, and garlic sauce. My wife had the chicken kabob plate but with a salad. We both enjoyed our food and had plenty left over to eat again the next day. The chicken was not dry which it often is in other place. No sauce required to eat this chicken, though the sauce is flavor. The humus was some of the best I’ve ever had with more than enough pita to eat with it. The roast veg tasted as if the had been grilled out side and tasted so good my wife was trying to steal them off my plate. Everything was priced well for the amount of food. My plate was ten dollars and my wife nine. We will for sure be back again. My wife was already craving the food again, but it was Sunday and they are not open. The only other thing I should mention is this is really a take out place not a seat down and eat place. Also from time to time they my close because they are focused on catering. But even with those three faults this place has made it in our regular rotation for sure.

Legit and delicious food. The chicken sandwich was tasty and soft. Bought some chicken to BBQ n it was equally tasty and delicious.

Decent. Hard to see. No sign. Not really a restaurant. Kinda like Dominos, but they tempt(not really) you to eat there with their 2 stainless steel table & chair combos, smashed against the wall. The menu is stenciled into the wall and employees entrance/exit door. For some reason,(i didnt investigate) there are purses in display in a display case next to the register.

Walked in here on a whim and they only have a takeout counter but the Unilocal reviews were swooning and I hate fast food. I love good food fast! The owners were really nice and gave me a card so I could call in next time and apologized about the 20 minute wait. I ran a quick errand and it was done by the time I came back. It smelled delicious and I couldn’t wait to eat the chicken kebab bowl. When I opened it the chicken looked burnt but it was moist and delicious with no burnt flavor at all! Not sure what cooking technique that is but they’ve perfected it! The awesome sauce was excellent along with the rice and bread. I had a little left over and it tasted great the next day, too! Now I’m sad that I never tried this place when I lived right down the street… Oh well, I will definitely be back when I’m on that side of town!

Ordered the chicken plate with veggies, hummus, and pita bread and it was fantastic. The place itself is small but they prepare everything fresh. I waited about 15 minutes for the order but it was definitely worth it. The reviews do not lie, the service alone is enough to keep you coming back. I am not a huge fan of garlic sauce in general, but I did enjoy the large portions and the flavorful hummus. I will definitely be coming back to try the chicken sandwich.

I tried the chicken kabob combo plate for $ 10, which is: grilled chicken, rice pilaf, grilled veggies(various small peppers, onions, squash, tomatoes), hummus, 2 portions of pita bread which each porition was possibly equivalent to two pitas, and 2 garlic sauce. I was surprised at the portion size, it seemed like they filled each portion of the to-go box completely and didn’t skimp on the chicken. For example, my plate had a good portion of chicken which was equal to the portion of rice. At other restaurants you can tell they use the rice as a filler and only give about four pieces of meat. Service was friendly and quick-he even offered my son a small snack size candy bar as a small treat. Tips: Food is made to order, call ahead and they will be happy to accommodate. Also the temporary sign is hard to see because the bank and the palm trees blocks it, just reference the business Insight Photography and it is either next door or a few doors down.
