This is a well organized, mid-sized J Crew location with a relatively large sale section. Clothing is overall good quality though I spotted a few defective items(sweaters with pulls etc) on the floor, so make sure you try before you buy! Staff were helpful on my repeated visits to the fitting room. I find their sizes tend to run large, which is not great if you’re petite like me, though I believe you can order petite sizes in many items online.

The ladies(and gentlemen) here are super helpful! When you need a new mix for your wardrobe, this J. Crew is the place to go. A little pricey, but the sale rack is always full and there’s usually some type of additional sale going on(love!) The jewelry is also to die for!

Out of all the jcrews this one is my favorite. The sales associates here are wonderful. I live in la and I always make it a point to stop by jcrew when I’m in Fresno because the service here is so so so much better.

As Melody T wrote, this J. Crew is not picked over. Sizing is all over the place, some xs shirts are tents and some xs dresses fit well… You just have to try on stuff before purchasing. The sale section is pretty big and much more organized than expected. Service is pretty nice. I think the salespeople work on commission, because I get a LOT of attention when I’m browsing/scouring the sales section(don’t pay full price for J. Crew, people. The design is cute, but quality has fallen as of late).

What Fresno needs is H&M and Zara! Hopefully in the next 3 – 5 years if not sooner… :) But on to J. Crew… J. Crew makes great apparel for women. The accessories, especially the jewelry, are phenomenal. The shoes, however, are not stellar. But the company had a coup when it partnered with Manolo Blahnik a couple of seasons ago. Sadly for many J. Crew middle market fans, it was a capsule collection that was expensive therefore it was distributed just to their top stores. The jewelry designs took off when the company took a que from Lanvin back in the early 2000’s. And they are styled very well with the clothing. Of course, the iconic piece is the Bubble Necklace. It’s been done and redone with different color stones over the past several seasons. Ladies, J. Crew jewelry has become collectors items. The men’s line, however, has been very stale in the last few years. There’s nothing new. It’s stuck in that nouveau-preppy-Ivy-League-meets-lumberjack aesthetic. I’ve been waiting for newness but none seems forthcoming. I still have a couple of really cool printed cotton pants I bought 7 years ago. Most everything else after that is blah. The Fresno store is nice. But it doesn’t seem to be frequented too much. I like it.

Giving this a five for now because I can’t contain myself since I found out they will be carrying men’s clothes soon!

The store is women’s only I believe, which works for me! Spacious retail store(not surprising given it’s in Fresno), but the staff has always been really friendly and helpful. I’m usually trying to kill time when I’m n Fig Garden Village and spend the bulk of the time at this store. Great selection in sizes and the sale selection is pretty big and not as «picked through» as other jcrew stores.

This J. Crew store is located in Fig Garden Village in Fresno. My fiancé and I were returning a wedding dress that I’d purchased in Manhattan. As promised, the return was quite possibly the easiest and friendliest I’ve ever experienced. No questions and no hesitation in returning $ 1600 to my credit card. I walked out smiling. :)

Returned an expensive weddingt dress from nyc. They don’t even sell wedding dresses at the store, but so very polite to my fiancé and I. Store was well laid out, well staffed. Needed some mens stuff, but I was very impressed with the selection for women, the staff, and the service. If I became a female I would return again and again.

YAY! A J. Crew store finally opens in Fresno! What? Only women’s clothes? Booooo!
