Lakeridge Apartment

I have lived at Lake Ridge for 2 years now and I love everything about it. Do not listen to the horrible reviews and it is sad that people always write about when they have to pay for things but never when good things happen. If you leave your place a mess, of course someone will need to clean it! I was in a 1bedroom and now I am in a 2bedroom and I love it. The whole staff here is amazing. I highly recommend you to live here

By far one of the worst experiences in my life. I’ve rented apartments for 8 years (highrise, garden type of complex), so I can say and know the difference of what a good and convenient place to reside at. lakeridge lures you that they have an awesome management but in the end, there were no resident support at all.
Lived in the apartment for six month. I was away during the weekend and suddenly The neighbor had a water leak and it affected our unit. This is what they did:
1. They just called us on a saturday morning and said «we have maintenance to go inside your your unit because there was a leak, they will pull out the base boards and put a air blower to dry Up the leak.
2. No apologies for inconvenience
3. No courtesy carpet cleaning since it wasnt our fault why there was a leak (plus we had to literally beg the office to at least shampoo the carpet because the leak made an odor, but office said it was clean water that leaked yet the leak that passed thru our unit made a anad inconvenience, big mess and dried up with an odor) The office then made some service go to shampoo only the affected area — why not shampoo the whole carpet as courtesy… also the old base boards they used were the same they put back… they just waited for it to dry up. we also notice a mold at one of the sides but they denied it was a mold.
4. They used our electricity to blow dry the carpet (they said its just low voltage so there is nothing to worry about but when our bill came from electricity it added $ 30 to my bill and they didnt even bother to ask about it)
5. They blamed our dog for odor and they said needed treatment for the carpet (we had a small pomshi that was well trained and we only stayed in the apartment during Monday to Friday)
6. They jacked up all unnecessary charges to take out of our deposit… they took $ 400+ away from us

I dont understand how anyone can say lake ridge has burglaries. I have lived here for 7 years and never has my car been broken into. If people complain about lake ridge they should move and quit talking bad about a place they call home. We have nice managers in the office that help as much as they can and they are always watching out for the people who live here. They had a big bbq for us and are always happy when you go into the office. It is affordable and a nice place to live. Dont let Jose C ruin your decision. The gates have helped for our apartments to be more private.
