Laser Quest has been around since the 90’s and it’s still the same repetitive game as ever. So for $ 8.50 or you can pay a little more for an «Iron Man» session which is more of the same for 30 minutes. There’s no real objectives to the game other than to score more points than everyone else which sounds great on paper but it gets boring fast. So the gear that was given was pretty bulky and the«gun» looked like a bad sci-fi movie prop. Sure it was fun selecting a name which was cool. Our ref or «Marshal» gave us their rule brief and within moments of being allowed into the arena all you heard was a stampede of people who’re running, and not much was done about it. The«experienced» players look like their having a seizure as they try not to get hit, one of which got too close to me and nearly hit me with the damn«phaser» so I ignored it and kept playing, it’s not like it matter much as their going to simply have to wait a moment and they’re able to shoot you which is makes it all redundant. The Marshal really didn’t enforce any rules and was aimlessy walking around, politely telling players to stop their behavior. I was bored about 10 minutes in and I paid for an «Iron Man» session, sure it’s great having two stories in the arena but, there’s no real use for a second story, as they really don’t add too much to the experience, one player was pretty much in a corner shooting and not leaving while their regulars were doing some cringe worthy ballet, there’s nothing to do but mindless shoot at each other in a smoke-filled arena with bland techno music. LaserQuest was great back in the 90’s but it really hasn’t evolved or progressed to keep up with customer interests. If you want a bit of nostalgia then by all means go to LaserQuest.

To play laser tag here you need a group of people to seek out and tag; so either you bring a group with you or you will be be with the next group of people who are also playing. We just so happened to go when there were 2 birthday parties being held, so we were attached to their groups to play. Each game is about 20 minutes, about an hour for the 2 game deal. When you pay for your games, you choose a code name, whatever you want to be called, I chose Champion. This is a really good place for a kid to have his/her birthday, but also for any age group. It was fun for us(we’re in our 30’s); and I didnt have any mercy on shooting these kids in the chest and butt; this was WAR!!! …yeah but I didnt win Elmo did :-/You WILL come out of here sweating, lol so dress down and appropriately. They actually should have the AC cranked up a bit, because once you get moving, all that body heat from being active, you get hot tired and sweaty and its just not cool enough. Other than being sweaty its a fun place and not too expensive.

Spent valentines day here with my boyfriend and brother! we had so much fun! 8.50 a person, not bad, considering other places have less time in the arena and cost more. definitely coming back here!

Still a fun place to be! I haven’t been to Laser Quest in 10+ years, but it was just as fun as when we were teenagers. It’s only a 15 min session, but with all the running around you get exhausted easily! A must for a large group or large family – great bonding experience! The only downside is having to share the session with strangers, but sometimes that can be interesting if you get a good group.

So my daughter turned 14, of COURSE we are going to have a sleepover, but how else do I entertain 6 teenage girls? I was a bit skeptical, you are in a dark room with your group and another group of hormone driven kids… and you all shoot at each other… not the most girly thing to do; but it turned out to be a really great time for them. The girls did get to pick out alias names which I thought was a cute touch. It’s $ 8 each person, each game. You get a little scorecard on how many times you get hit, and how many times you shot the other team members. AND… we had COUPONS saved $ 32 bucks with my lovely coupons!
