Great great service, food was good too. I’d recommend it if your looking for friendly service and good food, try this place out.

Just okay. Nothing spectacular about this place. Food was eh. Chips and salsa tasted weird. Service was good. Probably wouldn’t recommend this place or return. Sorry, but they just need more effort into their food.

I’ve been here two times. Both times food came out hot and fast and the staff is friendly. Wasn’t too packed but when more people came you rely couldn’t tell you don’t feel crowded. Experience was nice and the food was good. Will definitely be coming back

My family and I stopped by for lunch after hearing positive feedback from friends. The waiter was very good and took our order promptly. The food itself was okay, not great but not anything to marvel about. Midway through our meal, we noticed a cockroach creeping on the wall right next to our booth/​table. I couldn’t believe it, and as I pointed out the nasty bug my son caught it in a napkin. We are not snobby folks by any means, but this was totally gross and ruined the rest of our lunch. Not wanting to raise havoc during the busy weekend lunch rush, we discreetly informed the waiter.
The waiter himself saw the cockroach and threw the napkin away and stated he would inform the manager, who would personally apologize. We waited for quite some time, and the waiter never returned. I am not sure if he was embarrassed or avoiding us, but a different waiter stopped by with our tab. The tab was discounted by a few dollars, I am assuming due to this incident but it is very disappointing that the manager did not care enough to follow through on speaking with us about it. We will not be stopping by Lety’s again in the future, and I highly encourage choosing another restaurant due to the lack of sanitation or care by management.

This place was fantastic! The food was cooked to perfection, the staff was friendly and attentive without being annoying. It’s clean, comfortable, a great place to kick back and stuff yourself.
I love when I can find hidden gems, just when I think I’ve tried all the good Mexican food in Fresno. Do yourself a favor and come try it!

I have been coming here since it was Beto’s. The food always stays the same, the family runs it and have seen the kids grow up. They are always my families favorite place for Mexican. Chicken tacos are always amazing! Make special orders for my husband and kids. It’s like home and family made food. Can’t go wrong with Lety’s

Over priced and crowded. This place was pumped up by a coworker but the sandwich wasn’t anything more than what I could make at home.

My coworker and I like to come here about once a week. I don’t usually deviate from the two shrimp tacos + all beans order. There’s only one server in there most the time, and she’s usually very hurried and rushed (we try to go there an hour before the traditional lunch rush, and the wait staff is usually better then). I have never been disatisfied with my tacos, ever and it’s a great place to get a Mexican food fix.

The food here is super salty!!! Everything was salty and unappealing. I only give it 3 stars because we had a wonderful waiter! He was great but the food was not.

Really good authentic Mexican food. Their Poole is one of the best in Fresno. I’m not an enchilada fan at all, but the enchiladas at Lety’s are off the hook. Also the shrimp Ranchero is excellent. I’ve yet to have a bad dish.
The staff is very friendly and adds to the experience. The atmosphere is awesome. Definitely go check it out and have a great meal.

I gave it another try this time the service was better the food was not though. My friend got a taco that was super soggy and not appealing. I ordered a burrito asked for onions and bell peppers in it like a fajita style. I received fresh chunks of onion and bell pepper not grilled at all. My friend asked for jalapeños for her tacos and received a full not chopped jalapeño with no knife to do so for herself?

The food is good. First and foremost. I usually get tacos and the meat is well-​seasoned and ample. Whether it was beef, chicken, carne asada or chile verde they usually give you a good portion of meat, which is important to me. I also tried the menudo and it was pretty good as well. Lots of stripe. Now the service? The young lady working there wasn’t overly friendly but she wasn’t rude either. She was respectful and helpful. The order didn’t take too long but then again I don’t mind waiting if the food is good. Rather you take your time than try and rush you. The restaurant was generally clean. The serving area was clean, the tables were clean and wiped off. There wasn’t any mess or the floor or anything like that. The bathroom was generally clean. I mean I wouldn’t eat anything off the floor but I’ve seen much, much worse. Overall, I’ve always had a good experience at this place. And, let me repeat, the food is good. Its not a hole in wall. Its a place you could take a friend or stop on the way home from work and be perfectly happy. Its not a 5-​star restaurant but it has 5-​star food. And that’s really what matters right?

A friend and I walk in around 530PM expecting a nice mexican dinner. There was a group of 4 eating and we sat ourselves, as there was no server to be found. After waiting for about 20 minutes_​My friend walk towards the kitchen and asked if there was a server working. The cook went and looked for the server and she was either in the restroom or hiding in back of the house. We order two meals and was served what appeared to be leftovers, as the taco shell was old and reheated and the enchilada sauce taste like %4#5! It appears the previous reviewers were either relatives of this place or friends. Trust me being in the marine corps I could eat anything, but as for the service (looking for a server, after waiting for 20 minutes) is unacceptable. Sad to say when this place was Beto’s it was really GOOD. The new owners either need to retrain their staff or learn how to cook mexican food. re-​heating old food to serve to their paying customers is POOR SERVICE.

Authentic Mexican food. Coming from Southern California I know good Mexican food and this here is by far THE BEST I’ve have north of the Grapevine. Good homey feel, fresh chips and salsa when you eat there. What more can you ask for?

Really good food family owned, good service food served hot and fresh, hits the spot every time. Give it a try. I give this place a 4 star because it needs a small make over but who cares food is delouse.

This is a little authentic type restaurant. I ordered a hard taco with asada and chile relleno. Both were delicious! I was with 10 people and they were mostly happy with everything. The horchata is homemade and delicious and they even provided free refills! Prices were very reasonable and the ala carte menu is the way to go! I totally recommend!
