Just left this McDonalds drive thru again not getting what I asked for. This is the fourth time I have asked for sweet and sour sauce and not received it with my order. Today I asked the guy handing me my food, «is the sweet and sour sauce in the bag»? He hurried me away and said, «it’s in there». ITWASNOT! Disappointing every time. How can it be that difficult to ensure the ticket is correct and customers get what they are asking for? Maybe managers are not training their employees on simple tasks like getting the order right!!!

Even by a fast food standard this location has consistently shown itself to be manned by some of the most incapable, brain dead staff I have ever seen. On one occasion I was given a chicken salad with the chicken completely forgotten. Another I was given the completely wrong sandwich, returned, and got back to find that my habanero burger was without even a single drop of the namesake sauce. I don’t ask for much from a McDonald’s but for gods sake just the slightest attention to detail. Do yourself a favor and just drive another two minutes West to the next mcd’s by the 41.

First off, I love McDonalds… just not this particular McDonalds. Sad too because it happens to be the McDonalds near my office. So why exactly am I giving a fast food franchise that I enjoy only one star? I’m not — this review reflects the ineptitude of the Cedar and Shaw location in Fresno, CA. Again, let me stress that I love McDonalds’ consistency in regards to their food, but this particular location needs some serious improvement with their lunch-hour drive-thru. Here is the issue: The last FOUR visits, I’ve been charged for extra sauces for my nuggets that I didn’t receive. I have a limited lunch hour, so returning to the store is not an option. I’ve basically had to suck it up and try to enjoy 20 nuggets with only 3 sauces(I usually request — and get charged for — eight.) So far, I’ve spent an extra $ 5 on sauces I haven’t received so today when I ordered, I brought it to the attention of the girl taking my order that there damned well BETTER be eight sauces this time and went on to inform her that on my last previous four visits, I had been shorted. To her credit, she was apologetic and told me that she was going to count the sauces herself. Guess how many sauces were in my bag? Three… Oh, but there was(I’m not exaggerating here folks) TWENTYSEVENKETCHUPS!!! Were the extra ketchups supposed to somehow appease my grumpy-ass self?! Jeezuss… I wasn’t about to leave the drive-thru without checking my order this time and when I discovered that I had yet again been charged and shorted, I put my truck in park and demanded to talk to the manager. The nice girl who can’t count past 3 told me to drive through and come into the building to speak with the manager but I refused. Once she realized I wasn’t going anywhere until the issue was resolved, she went to fetch the manager. Meanwhile, traffic was backing up behind me, but I was NOT going to cater to them when it was their mistake. The manager, Enrique, finally came to the window and asked what the problem was and when I explained the situation to him, he asked me to pull forward so that he could serve the people behind me… I had yet to receive my paid-for sauces at this point. I calmly told him«No.» I wanted my sauces and even showed him the receipt and the contents of my bag. Now at this point, you’d think that maybe the manager would try to do something to make the customer feel appreciated. Nope. Instead, he grabbed a bunch of sauces(didn’t even count them but turned out to be only four — still missing one I paid for…) and shoved them into my bag. Like I said, still didn’t equal eight sauces and they were all ranch… I had ordered the chipotle BBQ sauce and the sweet and sour. When I informed him that it still wasn’t eight sauces and that I never even ordered ranch from the get-go, he gave me attitude. He condescendingly asked me exactly HOW many of WHAT sauces I wanted. Excuse me Enrique, but I ALREADY told your employee working the window that info, so why are you trying to make ME feel like the idiot here? He finally gave me the sauces I had originally ordered and even counted them as he so delicately placed them(chucked them one by one) into the bag. I was basically made to feel like a problem customer and I will go out of my way to ever visit this particular McDonalds again. For the record, I’m still out $ 5 from sauces that were never given to me at this location and feel that I should at the LEAST, not have been charged for my sauces this time… but no. Instead, the manager Enrique made me feel like it was somehow my fault. I tried calling the store number on the receipt(559−707−3941) when I got back to the office and was promptly hung up on. McDonalds needs to seriously evaluate their Cedar and Shaw store, and more specifically the daytime manager, Enrique. Horrible customer service and overall an asshole.

Fast food… disgusting atmosphere. This is the one near campus, right? Gosh, the manager never has anyone clean the tables properly. All they do is drop the crumbs on the floor. The trash? IT’S FULL. Throw it out so I can throw my trash away! I’m not trying to be rude, but damn! Clean up!
