Sylvia was fantastic with my four-​year-​old son. She made him very comfortable by showing him the clippers before she used it on his hair. She really understood how to alleviate his fears surrounding hair cutting. Elaine cut my hair for the second time and did exactly what I wanted. Clean tapering. We will be back.

Cuts are $ 12.
3 ladies working the Sat afternoon that I went. Sylvia was great. She spent extra time on my hair. Good conversation. Ask her about her pictures with Quentin Tarentino & Shia Lebouf that are hanging on the wall.
They welcome walkins. Place kinda has that old barbershop feel.
They are open T-​F 8 – 6 Sat 8 – 3. Closed Sun & Mon. They take cash only.
If u are looking around, I would give them a try.

I went here for the first time today. I asked for a high and tight cut. Sylvia took care of me. She did an excellent job. She was meticulous and efficient. Based on this one experience it was excellent. I’ll have to see how it goes with time.

Went here once. When I returned home my wife immediately pointed out the back was cut noticeably lopsided. I went back to the shop but they were closed, even though I returned within their posted hours. I had to solicit the help of my wife to even the back out to the point it was presentable. I don’t usually comment on poor work, just don’t go back. But this is unforgivable for a barber.

Mike’s is a fantastic barbershop! I used to go here all the time to get my hair cut, and the only reason I stopped is because I moved to the complete opposite end of town.
Everyone that works here is super friendly! I always got my hair cut by Elaine, but the other lady that works there is always super nice. They charge a fair price, and I never had a bad haircut from there.
You also might be wondering where exactly Mike is, since only ladies work there. I asked this one day, and Mike is the owners husband! The more you know!

I’ve cut my hair here twice and have been pleased both times. I used to go to a stylist who would charge way too much. I wanted to try something new so I walked in one day. It’s run by two ladies who are super friendly and do a great job. The price can’t be beat. I think she charged me 11 $ and I tipped 4 $. Skillful barbers at a fair price.
