Mike’s Upholstery East

hope this review gets mike up higher on the Unilocal list so he gets more business and reviews… check mine out on munoz upholstery, and you’ll see I’ve been chasing getting the same chair done for awhile — mr. munoz did such a poor job that he offered my money back, then rescinded that offer and gave me just half — so I’ve already spent some money.
but I still had a saggy seat in my chair, from years of use, and called an interior designer, thinking they’d have some recommendations since they deal with re-​upholstery jobs all the time. and got referred to mike.
he will do an estimate via email pics, which is handy, so after doing that, I took my chair apart to save a bit of money, took the seat to him. easy enough place to find, and also found him to be a very nice guy.
he repaired the seat in 2 days, knew exactly what was wrong, and exactly how to fix it. it’s like new as far as the firmness is concerned, and I couldn’t be happier.
so, if you’re looking, I’d sure recommend mike (stay away from mr. munoz). from the looks of his very busy shop, he get’s a lot of work, and I would certainly use him again in the future.
