My daughter and I decided to go on a food adventure today and decided on Needa Cheesecake. The reviews were good and more importantly we’ve had good luck with punny named businesses. I thought I had my mind made up before I got there to try the Snickers Cheesecake, but once I got there the pictures(as yummy as they look) didn’t do the Cheesecakes justice. So many flavors to choose from, then I saw it, BANANA Cheesecake! My daughter chose Mandarin Orange. I can’t say enough good things about how creamy and delicious these cheesecakes are. Unique flavors. Friendly owner. Well worth the $ 6 per slice price tag. Best cheesecake I’ve ever had. We ventured out in 102 degree weather for two slices so you might say we went the fires of hell to get a slice of heaven.

Rumor had it that this place was closing… thus being the reason why I never got around to writing a review. I figured there was no point in writing a review for a business that would be shutting down its doors, nobody would benefit from me telling them about something that they could never have/experience. Luckily this rumor(like so many others) turned out to not be true… to a degree. During my most recent visit, I asked the owner about this ‘closure’ and she was able to set the record straight. She explained that she will remain open, at this location, for as long as she is able. She said that due to many factors, i.e. rent costs, utility bills, overhead etc, that she may have to find a cheaper space to conduct business. She talked to me at length and said she would’ve also liked to have an ‘eat in’ option for customers at her current place of business, but due to city rules in re: to building codes/upgrades, that she could not afford to make those changes. She also let me know, that despite the uncertainty on location etc, that she will still offer her cheesecakes online at . She is also tossing around the idea of having some sort of food truck for her delectable delights. I am so glad to hear this news, as I am totally a fan of their product and don’t want them to go away. I don’t know many people that don’t like cheesecake, and if you are a non-believer then these things will totally change your mind. Their cheesecakes come in many flavors and are super rich and creamy. Their flavors range from the gold standard Plain, German Chocolate, Caramel Toffee, Peach Cobbler, Snickers, Blueberry, Peanut Butter, Pumpkin, Pineapple Coconut and on. They are definitely up there in the ranks of Cheesecake Factory, in terms of flavors and quality… without all of the fuss. You go in, order your cheesecake and you’re done. The store is really easy to find, located across the street from Fashion Fair on Shaw and N. First, and it is conveniently placed right next door to a Starbucks which pairs perfectly with your slice. Their hours are great, they are open 6 days a week– closing at 8pm every night except for Saturday when they close at 6, and then they are closed Sunday. I have enjoyed several flavors here, my favorites being Peach Cobbler, Caramel Toffee and Coconut Pineapple. The Peach Cobbler has chunks of real peaches in the cake, as well as sliced peaches on top and pie crust. The Caramel Toffee was great too!!! I was concerned with the topping thinking it might be gummy or chewy after being on the cheesecake, but it was crunchy with every bite. And their crusts… so tasty and freshly made. I highly recommend this place. The customer service here is just as sweet as the cheesecakes. You can taste the passion for their business in every bite. I wish them the best, in remaining open and I am happy to be able to support local businesses such as theirs. The flavors, service, price etc is the reason why I will happily come here over chains. They also offer reward/stamp cards… don’t be a dummy like me and throw yours away(after hearing the rumors of their closure). For every 10 slices you buy, you get a free slice.

I didn’t know that I needed a cheescake until I walked into this hole in the wall bakery next to a Starbucks. Originally I wondered why a cheesecake bakery would open down the street from the Cheesecake Factory and I quickly realized that those factory made cheesecakes wilt in comparison to the care that goes into the cakes at Needa Cheesecake. And I was beside myself with the all the choices of cheesecake, probably about 20 different cakes were arranged in the display. So I picked a mix of 4 slices; Lemon, Raspberry, cappuccino, and cookies and cream. All four slices exceeded my expectations and left me wanting to order entire cakes.

I talked my boss into buying me cheesecake for my birthday. I specified Needa Cheesecake, because it is a local business and I’d heard good things. Since I did not go myself to pick it up, I cannot comment on the décor, level of customer service, ease of parking, sex appeal of the staff, cleanliness of the restrooms… you know, all the OTHER reasons to go visit a food service establishment. No, all I’ve got to go on is the caramel toffee cheesecake that I had for dessert after lunch. That flavorful caramel… that rich sweetness… those toffee crumbles on top… that graham-good crust… that’s all I have to go on. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go eat some more of it.

Good cheesecake but a little pricey at $ 6 a slice. I had the choc chip slice. I have a couple of suggestions about the store. They should sell water or something to drink. I also wanted to sit down to eat but there were no tables or chairs inside or outside.

I entered this shop as somebody who doesn’t like cheesecake with little expectation of liking what I’d get. However, given that this shop has an impressive five stars, I figured that I’d be getting a quality product. My husband and I came in after noon to an empty shop staffed solely by a woman(I’m assuming one of the owners, but she was definitely the chef!), and I gave her my fair disclosure that I’m not a fan of cheesecake, and neither is my husband. She assured me that this cheesecake was different, and she was right. We decided to try four different types: Mocha Chocolate, Lemon, Raspberry, and Cookies and Cream. Each one was incredibly rich with a light texture. We managed to easily put away all four of those slices in one day. For a decent price, from a local baker, with a wide variety of flavors, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this shop or recommend it to a friend. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra half mile from Cheesecake Factory to try this place out!

Per my friend’s recommendation, I came to give this place a try. I ordered a strawberry cheesecake and an original NY style one(6 $ a slice). The strawberry cheesecake was fluffy and light whereas the NY style was on the heavier and creamier side.

After reading the reviews on here I had to try the cheesecake. I purchased a while cheesecake and choose many flavors. The gentleman who helped me was not friendly at all and made me feel like I was a bother as I tried to choose the flavors I wanted. The different cheesecake flavors were good but they were too light.

Amazing!!! Hands down one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever had. Tried it yesterday for the 1st time had the pineapple coconut soooo good! I ate it so quick didn’t even get a chance to take a pic. I look forward to trying more flavors from this establishment.

This place is so delicious and ugh, feeds my addition to sweets and desserts. My favorite is the New York cheesecake! The texture is perfect and fluffy. Not overly sweet, with the perfect graham cracker crust. I’ve tried the toffee cheesecake and it’s just as delicious & I’m not a huge fan of chocolate or toffee in my cheesecake! But this was yum ! I also tried the Oreo one they had and coconut flavor one. Which were lol unique but I didn’t like it as much as the New York one lol

I do not like most desserts. Cheesecake on the other hand, will immediately make me stop what I’m doing just to go get some. So this place has been here for over a year already, and I’m wondering what I’ve been doing with my life this whole time. There’s not a whole lot to this place. Imagine a donut shop, but with cheesecake. It’s all laid out for you. You take it, and you go. I got the toffee chocolate, and it was so moist. I remember why The Cheesecake Factory always disappoints me when I go there. Made from scratch trumps the assembly line every time

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally made it a point to do so. I got lunch at the Blaze pizza in the same shopping center and then headed over with my friend. It was cute, simple, and clean on the inside and the cheesecakes looked beautiful in the case. I decided on the raspberry and a peach cobbler slice. The slices are perfect size, and they use a cookie crust that I adore! Not too sweet, very creamy and absolutely amazing. Glad to have them so close to home! Oh, you get a stamp card and each slice earns you a stamp! I’ll definitely be coming in to earn enough for a a free slice! ;)

So first off I must start this review by saying, I hate cheesecake! I’ll admit it, I have just never been a fan of those things. Never understood what people liked about them either. I mean just based on the name Cheesecake, it sounds gross. Cheese and cake merge in my mind into something disgusting, however this place has converted me. I happened to be in the area today, and I have had a very shitty week. Instead of asking«What would Jesus Do?» I asked myself, «What would the Golden Girls do»? And of course you know they would grab a Cheesecake from their fridge and eat that thing, making life good again. So I pulled into the parking lot and ran inside. They had so many different flavors available it was hard to settle on which ones to try. They all looked so darn good! Since chocolate is my vice, I settled on a German Chocolate and Chocolate Cheesecake. Oh lord! Am I in Heaven! These cheesecakes were nothing like any I had previously tried before. These were just amazing! I now know that all other cheesecakes before these, were garbage and it’s no wonder I never cared for them. These flavors were just to die for! You can tell they have a real passion for creating masterpiece cheesecakes! The guy working in there was extremely friendly too. He told me about their process of using the finest local ingredients too. You could tell he was really passionate about making an excellent product. They have found a fan in me! I will for sure come back to try other flavors. Go check this place out! You won’t regret it. Even if you hate cheesecake like I did, go check them out, they changed my opinion on them!

I found out about Needa Cheesecake on Unilocal and inevitably asked myself if I needed a cheesecake, and thought, yes, yes I do. I walked in not knowing if I’d be able to pick up a whole cake w/out ordering ahead, but was accommodated right away and was happy to have the option of choosing multiple options. I thought the cheesecake was of good quality. I wish it was easier to find a real New York style cheesecake though.

This is a local shop that makes all of their cheesecakes fresh and in house. They use only honest ingredients. what I mean by saying that is, if it is call Oreo cookies cheesecake. It has REALOREO’s in it. Not a knock off brand. It is family owned and operated and they use a family recipe passed down from generations. Anyone who loves cheesecake, you have not tasted real cheesecake until you have had theirs. Go support this local small business stay around and continue to offer a flawless quality product. Come on, you know you Needa Cheesecake! :-)

Browsing through Unilocal and I see«Needa Cheesecake», yes! Went to starbucks next door and flipped around to pay Needa Cheesecake a visit. I am so glad we did. Couldn’t make a decision ended up getting 3 flavors. Omg it’s delicious!!! I got to meet the owner Nitta, she was so sweet and very customer service friendly. On my way back to San Francisco tonight and she made my day with amazing cheesecakes and a very warm and welcoming/inviting service. I could see why it’s rated 5 stars. Great job! Definitely will be back again. Great place to visit. $ 6/slice and $ 42/whole cheese cake. Yummy!

Whoopi it’s Friday! I was on my way to Starbucks passing Needa… haha nosy me walked inside checking out the cake display. They smiled at me, sure they all looked nice. The location is next to Starbucks on Shaw and First, you won’t miss it after you step out from your car. I bought one slice of each Mocha Cappuccino and Blueberry Cheesecake. Love the Mocha one very much. Both are delicious with light sweet but rich favor. One bite after another bite… my bf and I finished them within 5 mins. He gave good comments but my opinion is… they are way better than Cheesecake Factory and Eddies. It costs $ 6 per slice included tax. $ 45 plus tax for the entire cheesecake and you can choose multiple favors. How awesome is that? Met with Bryan and he is such a sweet nice guy. Friendly CS manner with smile. A+ Keep up the quality!

Say Cheesecake Factory who? forget that, this place is the TASTIEST, best and hottest cheesecake store in Fresno. And its only $ 5.50 per slice, or $ 48 a whole cake? This is definitely a cheesecake lover heaven. The cheesecake here is dense rich and light at the same time, It is a perfect combination of tangy and sweet, with a velvety smooth and rich texture, made only from the freshest ingredients from the valley, it really does capture the homemade essence– and it is homemade freshly every day with the freshest and best ingredients from the valley. They have a huge variety of different flavors: peach, chocolate, chocolate chip, new york plain, peanut butter, cookies and cream, mocha, strawberry, and so much more. 21+ flavors all together, call them to see whats in store? They probably have all of them everyday, but call to make sure. The store is really easy to find, its right behind Starbucks on Shaw and Fresno, parking is easy, and they are open Mon to Fri 10am to 8pm, while Sat 10am to 6pm, closed on public holidays and Sundays. It would be smart to order a whole cake ahead of time, maybe like 1 – 2 days notice. I tried 2 flavors the New York plain and also the chocolate. The New York was absolutely divine, it was dense yet soft, and wasn’t too tarty, the taste was exactly the New York cheesecake I love and know from the famous state itself. Very high quality and the base is also very tasty. It wasn’t overly sweet either which I love. The chocolate cheesecake is just again dense yet soft, but so chocolaty rich that I was in heaven. Really good quality of chocolate is used, because I can taste and smell it. Its easy to say this is the best chocolate cheesecake in Fresno. Again the cheesecake was not too sweet, perfect sweetness. There is even a loyalty card, so buy 10 and get one free isn’t that awesome !

Delicious cheesecake made from scratch!!! Loved how their fruity cheesecakes are made with real, fresh fruit. The gentleman behind the counter was really helpful and has a passion for what he does(which is super hard to find nowadays). Really enjoyed my overall experience and will definitely be purchasing a whole cheesecake for my next birthday with all assorted flavors!!!

This is perfectly creamy cheesecake with fresh ingredients. It’s not extremely dense. Every time I come here, I get a different flavor. As far as cheesecake prices go, the pricing here is completely reasonable. It’s between $ 5.50 — $ 6 per slice. Make sure to get their rewards card so every time you purchase a slice, you get a stamp toward a free slice. I hope this place stays around for a long time.
