Been coming to this location for around 10 years. Came here yesterday. The cashier was friendly, my food was done quick, the establishment was very clean, and my meal was awesome. No complaints from me about this location, EVER. If you think this place is «ghetto,» then pull your douchebag head out of your fucktarded ass. They have never been «stingy» to me here either. I suppose I have just been «lucky» then… with EVERY single visit, for the past 10 years, right? Idiots. LMFAO! «5 stars,» is because I Love Popeye’s, AND this specific location. Ghetto? Rude? Stingy? NEVER ONCE TO ME! And I am NOT friends with any of the employees here, like some stupid, cunt, dumb-​ass hoe is. Thanks Popeye’s for being cool EVERY TIME I VISIT!

I would rate it negative stars!!! Straight up ghetto employees and managers! Rude and disrespectful. Mind ya, they themselves looks dirty as well. Helllooo!!! It’s WORK! At least dress and look clean! Cashier was a very rude and annoying girl named «Shakira» !!! Manager acted like she didn’t see or hear what’s going on. Nasty and dirty dine!!! So not sanitized. That girl «Shakira» was rude and annoying. Tossed our food to us and didn’t give us any napkins and any other utensils. She started arguing with another customer cause he was 40 cents short for a large cup. She got the nerves to said, «you either clean up the dine or throw away the unpaid drink.» That fat ass was just lazy! Besides, who can be that cheap! Let it go cheap ass! My husband went up and offer to paid for the drink. We left that shitty place! Shitty place, shitty employees, shitty food quality as well. They probably don’t even wash their dirty hands! Don’t waste ya time!!!

Things are wrong with the location
–ordered 8pc chicken got only 7pc
–ordered one biscuit and never receive it. Happened more than once before
–ordered all wings never receive it all wings
–cheap on the sauces

One word: disappointed
Used to be one of the best Popeyes.

They have remodeled this Popeyes and it is quite nice. The customer service was great and as always their food was hot and brought up from the kitchen quick. A+ for the staff here!

The chicken was very juicy, the sides tasty. This is one of the cleanest fast food restaurants that I have been in recently. Speaking of fast, the service is very fast, and very friendly. Our cashier brought the food out to our table which I normally don’t experience at fast good restaurants. I will be back.

My son and I got a small nugget meal to share since we’ve never been here before. I wasn’t impressed with the food, I mush more prefer KFC, but the staff was very friendly and helpful when we visited.

it’s the stingy money hungry owner charging for lame sauces, never ordering enough hot sauce and underpaying the rude staff. it’s the same owner for all 3 stores in fresno and they all suck but if i had to chose i’d pick 1st and mckinley because the manager there is a friend of mine. otherwise, i’d wait to go out of town to eat popeye’s because it’s just not worth the time and money to recieve such low quality product and service.

Before I made my list I was going to give this place 4 stars. THen I realized It was just because I loved the chicken sooo much because it was soooo hot and yummy! After writing my cons list I then had to reduce it to 3!
Pros:
— Piping hot chicken/​mashed potatoes/​biscuits !! It;s so delicious here!
Cons:
–They are so stingy with their sauces/​sauces/​honey.
— Their mashed potato to gravy ratio is HORRIBLE. i LOVE that gravy and i get frustrated when I don’t get enough of it!
— There is no bathroom (is that illegal??).
— Area is a little sketchy. Panhandlers outside. So Scary for a girl like me!

Best popeyes in town is at the McKinley & First location (cash only though). Then comes the west shaw location… And if you have to sacrifice quality and (somehow) quantity, the Fresno state location, which comes in dead last.

Only place in town I’ve found to enjoy a 5,000 calorie soul food meal. Red beans and rice, ham hocks, fried chicken, they’re all here.
Be warned, though. It’s in a neighborhood that’s best described a dodgy, and we’ve frequently had to run a gauntlet of panhandlers to get inside. And I personally would lock any valuables (GPS, satellite radio, etc.) in the trunk before going inside. But if you’re not put off by that, It’s worth a visit.
