Great sandwiches period. I go here very often. The employees are nice and service is fast.

As far as the food itself goes, this is probably the best of the fast food sub places in the area. Using fresh-sliced ingredients really does seem to make a difference, and is worth the premium you pay compared to Subway. However, the last time I bought a sandwich here I was left with some concerns about the cleanliness of this particular location. The person making my sub had a pretty nasty cough going on. That wasn’t her fault of course, but it did put me off my meal a bit and make me wonder why the other, less bronchial employee there at the time couldn’t have been the one in charge of the food handling duties. I was then surprised to see that this person was still wearing the plastic gloves she used to make my sandwich as she rung up my order, swiped my debit card, and then handed my card back to me – turkey juices and all. What surprised me even more was to see«Store Manager in Training» on her name tag. Hopefully the hygiene part of that training will be coming up soon. As I was leaving, she appeared to then use those same gloves that had just been touching the cash register to go back to assembling a cold cut platter. I’m not even somebody who’s super sensitive to germs, but this still kind of skeeved me out a bit. Hopefully it was just an isolated incident and not characteristic of the store’s health practices in general.

I want to start off saying I’m pregnant, so I am more aware as to how my food is being prepared. I went in for a breakfast sandwich. The guy mixed the egg with the knife he used to cut my sandwich. I just cut the end off, but then when I took a bite the egg leaked and wasn’t cooked all the way. The employee was nice however in any type of restaurant safe handling of food should be first priority. Now I have to pray I don’t get sick.

Delicious, freshly sliced meats and cheeses for a super fresh sandwich. They even slice their pickles to add that perfect crunch. Would love to see some more coupons occasionally placed inside the sandwich bag when you pay. That was cool a few months back.

Good sandwich. No value priced large subs anymore. Small more than $ 4. Large $ 7.19. About the same price as other sub places but I still don’t like shelling so much cash.

This place has gone downhill. The clerks behind the counter used to complain about working there, they are now gone. No one smiles and are not very pleased to be working here. The place has been so dirty and in disarray the last few times I visited, clerks are upset at each other and they just stare at you? Its weird. I usually get the Grilled Hot Pastrami sandwich, but the last time I got it here, the meat was disgusting all fat and chewy and the grill hardly warmed up the bread. I had to throw it out. Sadly, I will not be back.

I love this place. I go there normally before work smelling fresh bread, and fresh baked cookies feels very good. I love #1, and # 5. The staff are nice and friendly my kids also love their sandwiches.

Sandwiches are kind of meh, kind of par for the course for Port of Subs. The girls behind the counter aren’t the friendliest. The girl who made my sandwich wasn’t unfriendly, but she seemed to be pretty apathetic about the whole transaction. However the other girl behind the counter was complaining about something, and kept interrupting the ordering process. I would try and say what I wanted on my sandwich and she would just start complaining, and it was pretty irritating. I probably won’t be returning.

This is definitely a place that is a step between Togo’s and Subway. The quality of the bread is the one thing I enjoyed the most. They have a decent variety, however, just the basic Turkey and cheese was always my favorite. Parking is always difficult since there is only one way to enter it’s lot and very few parking spots.

Spending a month in Fresno for my work and I happened to get this on my lunch break. First time experiencing Port of Subs and it was not pleasant. The cashiers were teenagers with terrible attitudes, complaining the whole time I’m trying to order. I was also ordering my manager his breakfast griller that he gets everytime from this place and the girl that worked there said they don’t serve them after 11:30. The quality of the sandwich is definitely below average. Not worth 6 $ for an 8-inch when Subway gives 5 $ foot-longs with better quality. Hopefully the other Port of Subs are better than this one.

I love these sandwiches, most of the time they have the best fresh bread. I hear most of the other locations are better but this was the closest to my house. Many of the people working here are immature high school aged girls who don’t do much more than giggle and gossip when they should be doing work but some of them are nice, responsible girls. I recently moved away down south where they don’t have this chain. I guess subway will have to do for now.

If I could give this place a Zero I would. Poor service, cheap on condiments and a girl with a attitude. This place won’t last. They need to throw in the towel. PLUS parking sucks.

The worst sandwich I have ever had. Very little meat, off-tasting(not necessarily stale — more chemical-like), flavorless avocado. The water even tasted gross. I’m not a Subway fan, but there is one across the street from this place. If you must have a fast food deli sandwich, head to the Subway.
