Idk how this place passes inspection. Ladies were really rude, flies everywhere. I also found a hair in my torta. Plain disgusting! I will never come back to this place.

In my view, you have to rate and review Robertito’s according to what it is: it’s a «taco shop» offering authentic-ish Mexican food 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The latter there is the important part. I wouldn’t characterize the quality of the food quite on par with a good taco truck, but it’s a fixed location that’s open all the time; therefore, it’s perfect for late night cravings(especially after a night out drinking). The breakfast burritos are the best value — they’re filling and full of flavor.

This was my first dine in experience vibe only had a breakfast burrito from this place a few times. Let me start with the positive. The service was quick! We paid and had our food within five minutes! I got the taquitto plate that was a special for $ 5.99. Now the negative the taquitto a were a little under cooked, and the salsa lacked flavor. I would consider coming back and trying their nachos. But would suggest that for the quality and taste the prices are a little high.

LOVE the Asada fries here!!! I’ve had them from arsenios and they always put a lot of beans to fill it up and it ends up being really nasty as if we ordered bean fries or something. Here they put enough carne Asada, and all of the other good stuff, love it I go every once in a while and it’s always the same!(:

Food here is super gross! I felt I was eating left overs that they just reheated. The carne asada nachos were disgusting and the meat WASN’T EVENMEAT! It was more nerve than anything. Every bite I had to spit out the meat because I was chewing nerve. the tortilla’s were soggy and falling apart. VERYGROSS. NEVER, EVER, GOINGBACK!

Robertitos is good but I am not a fan of this location. The food is good but the one time I went to this location I found myself questioning if I should really eat what I ordered.

When it’s a toss up between Top Ramen and Mexican – and yes there ARE a few times a year when I feel like that – I sometimes go with this place. The cashiers are always super nice. The carnitas tacos are good. The breakfast burrito(served all day) was cruelly overcooked, like someone went on a break and forgot about the eggs cooking. So dry! I like the salsa they put in the squeeze bottles. Just think how many folks have touched that bottle! Seems like they just douse food in oil as it drips off most everything you’re eating. Non necessario. Isn’t there a happy place somewhere in the middle? The carne asada had some gag in it and always does. I guess there’s no reason to go anymore with Tacos El Grullo across the street. No gag, lower prices and better food! Guess you have to experience the bad to recognize the good… –G

Worst drive through experience ever. This is the second time I’ve used thedrove through. Waited 20 mins by the teller who told me to wait, she never returned and I left. Will not be returning.

Boring. Had burrito carne asada. Carne Asada was a better cut than other joints, but no flavor. The two sauces were boring. The red had no flavor. The green was better barely. Charging a buck for carrots and jalapenos is ridiculous. It’s not the money. It’s the principle. It’s a traditional garnish. Loud Spanish pop music is always a winner in an empty restaurant with tile floors. The staff was friendly and service was fast.

This was my go-to fast-food Mexican place, until very recently. Before my bad experience I would have given them three stars — most of the time I order a burrito, and most of the time it’s pretty good. It’s not awesome food if you’re in the mood for Mexican food — just as Burger King is not awesome food if you’re in the mood for a good hamburger. But… if you’re in the mood for a fast food burger, or a fast food burrito, these places do okay. At this location, the people are nice and friendly and they usually get the order right and give you what you need in the drive-thru(like, plenty of sauce if you want it). I would say avoid the chips and cheese, because it’s always some shredded cheese on top of chips, and I swear, not more than 10 percent of that cheese is melted on. If you are in the mood to eat some cold cheese shreds on semi-stale chips, you might like it. And avoid the guacamole, which is the consistency of the horchata — seriously. It’s like a thin green liquid and it’s got just about no flavor. But back to the burritos, which are mostly what I know about. For a fast-food place, the tortillas are surprisingly chewy, fresh-tasting and good. My son’s favorite is the California, which is steak and fries in a burrito. I sometimes get the Carne Asada«power burrito» I think it’s called, which means carne asada, but also all the usual burrito stuff like rice etc. However. My go-to burrito has always been the plain old grilled chicken burrito. It’s mostly chicken, with a little bit of shredded cabbage and a small amount of whitish sauce. I usually also use a lot of red and green sauce on it. Anyhow, about a month ago, I ordered the chicken burrito in the drive-thru. There was a line of about three cars ahead of me, and anyone who is familiar with their drive-thru can imagine how long this would take. That’s okay. I knew what I was getting into, and I had the time. Well, surprisingly, it didn’t take as long as I expected. I thought they must have seen the backlog and hurried things up a bit. Great. So I get home, take a big bite of my burrito, and… The chicken was raw. I am not given to melodramatic displays, but I had a mouth full of nasty raw chicken and I spit it out. It was such a disgusting experience that I can’t imagine ever eating there again. PS By raw I mean, the chicken looked okay on the outside, but was, literally, raw and slimy on the inside of each piece. I’m thinking someone tried to cook it fast to make up for lost time, said«Hey this looks pretty good,» and stuck it in the burrito. Or maybe someone spaced out and lost track of how long it was cooking(or rather, not cooking). Whatever it was, mistakes happen, and I don’t even bear them any ill will. They have always been very nice there, and I’m sure it was an honest mistake. But I was so grossed out, I can’t ever think about eating there again, which makes me sad.

Love Robertito’s! Carnitas power-burrito for the win! I’ve also had their adobada tacos, which were pretty good. The portions are very filling, and the prices are cheap! My boyfriend loves this place so much that(he recently confessed) that he went there for a burrito 4 days in a row! They are also open 24 hours and even have breakfast burritos. Never had those, but this place rocks.

I love this place. It’s close to my home, and the service is always speedy. So, it’s the perfect answer to the question, «I don’t want to cook. What do you want to do for dinner?» I always get the carne asada burrito. Guacamole. Pico de gallo. Simple. Amazing. I can’t even explain why the tortilla is so good– it’s rich and tasty. My wife always gets the chicken nachos without beans. I’ve had them. They’re not my bag, but my wife loves them. They(over?)decorate for every holiday, but I just think that’s part of their charm. Drive thru is fast too. The seating area is kind of generic. Old fashioned fast food tables; but, to me, it’s all part of the charm. I love this place.

Authentic no, decent yes, always good for breakfast or late night drunk eating this new location is convenient and a good location I’ll be back here for sure. 1 thing though there’s a few homeless folks on Standby for some change outside other then that I’m a fan(the 3 stars are based on not authentic)

Food rocks. Customer service sucks. I was there at 5:30 am for a burrito, the drive thru lady told me they were closed. 24– hour taco truck? Lol. I was a loyal customer, now I am no customer.

If you want something that will fill you up at night and tired of the normal fast food then you came to the right place. Its not the best for you but it will fill you up and taste good. Make sure not to over do it on the hot sauce or you will being paying for it the next day with fire hole. The people are decent and the service is ok. They can take a while during the night since at the most 2 people working so you better hope that you don’t see a line. Other then that you are good to go.

One of the few options open late at night. I ordered a chicken taco & the next day started throwing up. Terrible experience.

Dropped by there last night with the girlfriend, about 10pm– two carne asada quesadillas. Good times. This morning, we’re both COMPLETELY effed up with stomach cramps and the sh*ts, no joke. I literally had to make myself yak just to get through my work day. I’ve definitely had better Tuesdays. I love Robertito’s, been going there forever, but this is the SECOND time in six months I’ve eaten there and my bathroom has sounded like wet laundry and tennis balls hitting the wall the morning after. Hey STAFF: Wash your effing hands, or wash the dishes, or stop stuffing rotten-ass meat into the quesadillas. SERIOUSLY, check out their health inspection reviews: Wish I’d seen that BEFORE!

Before today I hadn’t stepped foot in a Robertitos for almost 3 years. Not that I didn’t like it, I just never thought to myself,” Lets drive to the other side of town and grab a greasy burrito!” Well guess what. I thought that today and boy was it tasty. I got the Carne Asada Burrito(~$ 4.69). It was filled with a lot of meat, a little salsa and guacamole. I also had a massive nachos(~$ 7.29) with carne asada to share. The chips tasted like frito– lays. We didn’t end up finishing it. The beans and rice I stole from my sister were pretty good too. The service and food was pretty quick. but be warned, if you don’t like onions be sure to order things without it. Cons: Descriptions of things were not written so you don’t know what you were getting. A lot of the tables were dirty/wobbly and there was no heater.

I personally enjoy Robertito’s, as I think they make some fairly tasty food. But lets clear two things up: 1.) Is their food super greasy? Hell yes. 2.) Is their food«authentic»? Hell no. But with that said I still enjoy eating their on occasion. As far as fast food style Mexican food, I think that Robertito’s is hard to beat in that category. When I go I normally get either the California Burrito, or the Asada fries. I knock them down to four stars because quite frequently I find that their carne asada can have some pretty big pieces of gristle in them, and for me that is a huge pet peeve. I think that the locations can definitely be hit or miss. This is the one I usually go to, and I have always had a good experience. Inversely I have been to the ones on Blackstone near Dakota, and the one on Abby, and those two make their food completely different.(For example this Robertitos cooks their carnitas on the grill and gives it a nice crisp on the outside, the other two just boil it and throw it in the taco/burrito.) Another note is that every time I have gone here, they have been super super friendly. I always see the same two ladies when I go there, and they generally recognize me and ask me how I have been.(One time they even let me taste the Jicama because I couldn’t remember what it tasted like!) The prices are pretty darn cheap, and they are open 24 hours. Looking for some Mexican food after a tough night of drinking? This is my preferred stop, it sure as hell beats Taco Bell!
