If I could give ZERO stars I would!
First of all, The employees at this practice obviously don’t know how to do their jobs.
I spent a good chunk of my Monday trying to find a Dental practice that takes my 6 year old daughter’s MediCal insurance, and after many calls I FINALLY thought I found a good practice that I could take her to.
The staff seemed friendly, but gave me the wrong information. I asked the woman who answered the phone, if they take my daughter’s MediCal insurance and she said «Oh yes, Absolutely!» I thought, great! based on this information I booked a next day appointment for my daughter, who is complaining about tooth pains and is running a fever of 101. F
So after driving across town and getting my daughter to the office to her First dentist appointment, I spend 30 minutes filling out all the needed paper work and answering all the questionnaires only to have the lady at the front desk tell me that they do not accept her insurance.
Excuse me?
I called yesterday and the woman I spoke to said that you «Absolutely do take her insurance»
The lady apologized of course. Really? Thats it? You are sorry? Thats not going to fix anything. Its not going to help my daughter who is miserable.
Fuck you guys. I will not return even if you DID take the insurance.
Your staff obviously doesn’t know what they are doing.
Thanks for wasting my day, and leaving my daughter miserable.

I had a great experience here as well. Came here for cleaning since I’m away at college and couldn’t make it regularly to my home town for dental cleaning. The staff were all friendly and efficient and the dentist was very friendly and informative, I will be returning while I’m here for school!

Amazing «chair-​side» manner. This was by far the most informative dentist I have ever experienced. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I found Dr. Schapansky after my insurance changed. I am switching my wife and kids over and have told my parents to check their insurance to see if he is a listed provider. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Scott Schapansky is an excellent dentist! I had such a great experience with him, for once in my life I actually look forward to seeing my dentist. The office is welcoming, clean, up-​to-​date with all of the latest gadgets and gizmos, but most importantly, the experience was completely comfortable (I have a history of being an anxious patient). Also, I heard Dr Scott Schapansky went to UOP dental school in San francisco. From what I read online, that’s the most difficult dental school to get into in the nation — apparently he must know his stuff. All in all, if you’re looking for a new dentist or an improvement over your current one, give his office a call and see if you can get an appointment with him, you won’t regret it!
