Selland Arena At Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center

The short: Came to Fresno to watch a concert and left half deaf, but had a great night!
The long: So getting to the arena is a little stop and go which is expected. The parking situation was pretty straight forward and simple to manage, but I understand if you come from the wrong direction it can be hell. Once I managed to park and get over to the arena that’s where I got a little lost. There were almost no signs anywhere as to what section entered where. When you asked staff they had no idea where to go. Once I managed to get inside finding the access to the floor was just as much of a headache. I did like that they have security all over that is checking tickets and moving people if they are not supposed to be somewhere, The strangest thing about the floor seating was that the isles were super crammed together and there were numbers drawn on the floor in chalk so you could find your seat. This lead to some confusion and problems once the chalk got wiped up from people walking all over it. The area in whole seemed super dirty. The floor was sticky and it has a smell that resembled old beer and urine. Someone really needs to get a powerwasher and some soap after this thing. All in all the sound was great and the seat was fine so for an arena concert it worked. Getting out of the arena was a bit of a nightmare and the traffic was hell also. Perhaps they should have someone down there directing traffic to clear it out faster.
What works: Nice arena without a bad view and parking is close which is a huge plus.
What to improve: Cleanliness and signage for getting in and around once inside

Kind of smaller arena but saw Tool twice here and it seems to have good acoustics and ability to put on large productions. The 3 stars is for location and the mess of a parking lot after the shows over. And like another reviewer said, this place could use a facelift.

Great show! Seat were great! It got cold… but it is Disney on ICE! The show itself was a little longer then the kiddos could sit still for. Consessions in lobby were expected in cost. Overall, its way cheaper then Disneyland and a great Family Event!

Concession people here are idiots. Bought a bottle of water and they wouldn’t let me keep the bottle cap. I wanted to save my bottle of water for rest of the evening. I’m an adult. Don’t treat my like a kid punk. Not gonna throw a bottle from back of the arena on to the stage.

Great place for a wrestling tournament.

Boy did this rock during the Boyd Grant era. It was great fun going to games.

fresnos first arena. its old and a little small, but seats arent too close together and there are good views of the court even from higher seats. could use a facelift. parking a plenty.
